I agree with limiting fruit, a friend wore out her pancreas and the doctors told her it was due to eating too much fruit, too much natural sugar isn't good for the pancreas. I can appreciate the importance of cooked pearl barley due to the toctrienols that are anti-cancer. When my pup had upset digestive system on kibble, I gave him a little cooked pearl barley with his rice and chicken to settle his stomach, although some was going straight through him like some of the grated carrot does. He is 4.5 months old, how old are they before their digestive system is functioning fully, I suppose it is when they stop growing and they've reached maturity. He's been on a raw food diet for nearly a month now and he's doing great.
