- The Earth's size, when compared to the Sun in most videos and illustrations, is exaggerated.
This animation shows the difference in the size of the Earth and the Sun, how they compare together, and the space between them.
This kind of stuff always blows my mind. It's crazy to see how small Earth is and then realize how small you are compared to Earth. We're beyond tiny.
The sun is 100 times larger than earth Earth is 23000000 times larger than humans
Sentience is not tiny. No matter how many inanimate atoms you clump together, I matter more than every atom in this universe combined, and so do you.
A good comparison is if earth were the size of a marble (around 1cm) then the sun would be about 1m in diameter, and they would be about 1km away from each other!!

The scale is not really a mistake, it's just so you can see things more clearly. If it were to scale, the Earth would be invisible, and the sun would be tiny.

Are you aware of the 1874 Rome observatory report on the northern lights appearing more southward. It was thought to have been caused by sun spots/ flares. By comparison Earth is tiny compared to our sun and flares. I hate to compare something to a movie but the movie 2012, ground liquefaction seems to be a part of many older buildings history. You can sometimes see many levels covered up. Front stairs obviously going up to a second story. Half buried basement windows etc. Topographical maps reveal which way our orb sloshed last event.
The Sun and Moon are different sizes and different distances from Earth. They also do 2 very different things...
With that being said the 2 of them show themselves every 24 hrs like clock work and appear to be the same size...
