Oh my god thank you foe this video. Learning this game just from the rulebook has been incredibly frustrating, this video answered so many questions that were unclear in the writing.

I just bought and played this game following these instructions. Not only do I love it but it is highly delightful even playing by oneself... though I don't think it's quite as good without other people, lol... but still fun either way.
Normally a video tutorial is painfully hard to follow, but this was easy to understand, and was explained very well!
It's like Redwall the boardgame. Unless, is there any lavish descriptions of food in the game anywhere?

Thanks for the video! It explained things a bit better than reading the information was doing for me. Looking forward to seeing it played before making the final decision. :) It looks like a lot of fun, but it's a bit of a plunge for a game to play solo, since it doesn't look like I'll be able to convince family to play (and my friends don't even live in the same state any longer!). My family needs a bit of easing into games this complex, I think.

Ok sounds like Dungeon Run meets The Secret of Nimh, which (even without the backstabbing) seems like an awesome combination. Can´t wait to watch more of this after the rule explanation. I stumbled upon it by accident when I was looking something up for Mansions of Madness. I ended up watching the adventures of Harvey Walters and his gang in one go^^ Keep on playing.

OK. I usually listen to rules while doing the dishes (I understand the the rulebook better after that). I did search a lot for good explanation of the rules of Mice and Mystics and never found any... till I found yours. Man, I remember why I suscribed to your channel last year. You're structured (I don't know if it means what I mean) and you know how to explain! Plus, your accent is unique :) I never heard someone with this accent. Hey, if you could hear me, you would just laugh.

Question about something I cant find in the rules or in the video, how does the turn precede after the last mouse or minion take its turn? Does it go back to the top of the initiative track and keeps going till all minions are defeated? does the chapter marker move up one after last mouse takes its turn on the initiative track?
Where did the background score come from? Are there stock background scores that can freely be added to videos like this?

Hi! In case of minions with ranged attack stat only, do I use this ranged stat in melee as well when we are fighting in a melee, please? ( example elite rats)

No, Encounter cards are drawn for previously unexplored tiles.

Do you know the card size for all the cards? I want to get sleeves for them before my preorder arrives.
My gut tells me the main cards are standard size, the larger cards may be Lost Cities size or could stay unsleeved, and the smaller cards are like Ticket to Ride size?
Question: if a space has 3 minions and 1 Mouse and that mouse rolls 3 swords but the minion rolls just 1 shield and its initiative card has no hearts, do you remove 1 minion because you may only target one at a time or remove 2 minions because they were both on the same space and you dealt 2 damage?
I think in the rules that a minion can only attack the closest, highest ranked on the initiative track,and never attacked on the same phase, mouse. Otherwise, 6-8 roaches can attack one mouse, which is very hard to defend against.
I want to like this game so much as it seems to have a lot of things I like in games, but the rolling, rolling rolling along with super basic combat (or so as reviews have suggested) I have yet to buy it.
I can't decide if I would like this, Wrath of Ashardalon (or similar D&D game) or try for a solo version of Descent 2nd Ed.
+Bill Jensen I have Wrath of Ashardalon, The D&D games are fun! This appeals to me in its simplicity and something I can do with my kiddos!
Mice and Mystics Question: Abduction
After the successful search, does that count as both a "Find of the Abducted Mouse" and a Draw from the Search Deck? Or is it just the "Find the Abducted Mouse"?

This is definitely a LOT more complicated than I though it would be. Looks like it could be tons of fun if played with at least one player who knows the game.
