I always liked Janet. There was a lot going on in the family when she was a kid. I liked Michael, too. I think he wasn’t a bad guy, just the product of a lot of abuse and a life in the spotlight.

Michael for sure wasn't in denial about his drug issue at all. He made a song about it and even acknowledged that he was going to get treatment multiple times, his drug addiction ended but it started back up when he had another accident on stage. He also made a program that teaches children about drug use, ( stated in a interview ). Michael wasn't in denial, he very much knew he had a problem. I'm pretty sure nobody would've been able to go through the mental and physical pain Michael went through and still have the will to live. The only thing Michael didn't want to do is really be near his family, because his family wasn't really a family at all. He loved everyone but at the same time I believe he was scared to go around his family, considering he had been hurt and abused by them and people in general so many times. I did disagree with some of the things Janet said because it seems like she isn't taking consideration for what Michael went through. Janet makes it seem like Michael was cold, distant, and just plain different-When in reality, people made him that way. He was controlled, manipulated, misjudged, and overly sexualized by the public and the fans. The truth is, nobody really made a effort to help Michael. He was alone, and even his closest friends have said that about him. You can argue if Michael was distant or cold but he had every right to be. The people he were close with either had left him at his hardest times, abused him, or had bashed him after he died. I'm not bashing Janet at all, she's a queen. But I feel like she needs to put herself in Michael's shoes to understand why he acted kind of distant and different with everyone and herself. Besides all the stuff he went through, he was still a kind hearted and gentle person. There are two sides to every story. Besides that, Janet aged gracefully and is as beautiful as ever.
She was everywhere at her peak, but that Superbowl moment tarnished heavy her legacy, I am glad she is finally recovering and her career and legacy gets more appreciation nowdays. That woman paid her dues a long time ago and suffered more than enough, glad people are starting to appreciate her more and re-discovering her rich legacy!

In the documentary, they asked her directly if she had a secret daughter with James Debarge? She just "answered " by asking "why would I keep a child away from its father "......?!!? A simple yes or no would have answered this simple question.
