Thank you, Bill, for another great and informative video.
Enjoyed your video Bill, thanks for taking the time to review the microscope. Would love to see some more videos on your FPGA dev board.
I have the Andonstar brand of the same microscope. I see this one is about $20-$30 cheaper than what I paid for exactly the same device at today's price ($269-$50 "coupon" now, but I paid $220 for mine half a year ago). The sensor isn't so fast if you move things quickly, for for SMD work, it's perfectly sufficient and I highly recommend it also.
The Tang Nano looks quite interesting. I'm stingy and the price is one of the things that's kept me out of the FPGA world. And this is getting close to my preferred price point.
Erm, just how cheap are you? The 9K can be had for about £15 shipped from Aliexpress, it’s pretty much an impulse purchase. The 20k version (a little more than double the FPGA resources) is less than £30.
@@stevetodd7383 yup... cheaper than that... sadly other demands on my income take a much higher priority than my hobbies.
Seems like this exact microscope is also sold with Andonstar branding.
Yes exactly, it says manufactured by Andonstar on a small sticker on the box!
bit pricey 269gdp good video tho 2e0yax
