This is the idea of positive, bright, diligent, loyal and committed outstanding students in the zone of supporting each other as a team, within the education system. Quite Fantastic, and may each one of them become outstanding Adults in their quest to develop their careers after college, or University...

âŁïžđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ
Iâve never seen so many cool people AND band nerds all being cool at the SAME TIME. Mind blowingly awesome performance đ„
From London/UK. I believe as talented as we are, there is no way that this range of talented students can be replicated anywhere on this Earth. This is the idea of positive, bright, diligent, loyal and committed outstanding students in the zone of supporting each other as a team, within the education system. Not only them, but to all the other identical colleges who produce outstanding musicians, athletes, leaders, and teachers within the system. Quite Fantastic, and may each one of them become outstanding Adults in their quest to develop their careers after college, or University...
Well said. Kudos to these young people. Continue to march with wisdom & the will of God leading the way in each of your lives. I see leaders.
they are barely even move how are they good
Here in germany we have traditional school musikkorps not this weird shit. Austria and France also do have nice music corps
I agree. We have nothing like this in the UK unless you join the military. We have small local marching bands that were traditionally linked to the coal mines or steel works but they are made up of less than 30 ish people.
@@Sera-Marie we have those too. Dont you also have an militarized culture? Like civil bans based on army bands?
When every member of the band is a drum major.
This brought back really great memories. Band was a way for me to experience different schools, cities, countries. Some of the best times of my school yrs and my life for that matter.
Me too âșïž
All the white people hating on the vid for no reasonđčđč
Because they are seeing an HBCU band that can eat their little bands up with half the fundingâŠthey really saw the difference in entertainment value when this band showed out at the 2023 Rose Parade in CaliforniaâŠ. look it upâŠour melanin challenged brothers and sisters couldnât believe an HBCU band could be that good
No itâs the non American blacks
No its the pilgrims đ
the amount of swagger in this video
Those dudes marching in carry whole drum sets omg. Amazing.
I'm a big fan of my JSU family, the Sonic Boom but Norfolk made me look twice!đź
Glad to see the Spartans haven't let up after all these decades. Will never forget when they killed it during Homecoming by playing Lovers Lane by Georgio in '87!!!đ„
I've been out of college for over 100 years and I would love to go back to school and attend this school just to be in the band(clarinet section only).
I could never March this well
Didn't it take you there?đđ€đ€đ€
Same here!

Me too, I played clarinet in the marching, concert, jazz, and All City bands. Loved EVERY single moment!!!!!
I am a graduate of NC A@T , And was a member of the Percussion section which we called Cold Steel . Norfolk State Universities marching band is ONE OF THE BEST OF THE BEST, especially their PERCUSSION SECTION. I love watching their Band perform.

Iâm way in Detroit, Michigan and I stumbled up on this, this is a phenomenal band here, Iâve watched others but this performance surpassed them all
My son is in this band & was in this performance. His high school marching/ Jazz/Concert band director is from Detroit & is an Alumni of this band & the school. The greatness runs deep my friend. Very deep. BEHOLD....
I am a Norfolk native,,, this was great to see cause remember how exciting it was to see the marching Spartans growing up
I respect any band with their own style!! I'm not a big fan of meac, siac, etc and other conference styles but I'm swac. but Norfolk is sum serious!!
No doubt about that.
I gettin older My disc in my back is sore from just looking....
Great tradition. Great musicianship. Great students!!!
Norfolk is bad. Clean, tactful, precise. đđ„°đ„
We rep when we step out #greenandgold #Spartan
I used to love battling Norfolk state. Their band was amazzzzzzing⊠I lowkey want to play âbeholdâ & âand love goes onâ
Former band geek from way back. THIS IS AWESOME!!!!! The pride, the flair, the discipline-- just. freaking. awesome. I want more of this band!!!!!
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing it so that thousands of people could enjoy it!
Thing about it is that Norfolk State has been like this for many decades.
Facts.
The absolute best entrance. My daughter is considering Norfolk State for band.
It would the best time of her life
Drum lines are so bad ass, much respect
As your average white guy just want to say I stumbled across this video and am so impressed. Just watched a lot of the videos on this channel. So wowed by the performances and the video quality.

I've seen a lot of marching bands in my lifetime but this one blew my mind. Absolutely stellar performance.
I believe this is the definition of swag. Love it.
I'm not from the US so I'm clueless on what is judged with marching bands. One thing I do know though, is that march in was EPIC. I loved the energy. I just feel sorry for the other band in yellow, having to witness that without feeling defeated.
This band is focus and have discipline.
I love this band's swagger so much
I have now gone down a rabbit hole of watching HBCU drumlins that I would be happy to never crawl out of!!
I should've stayed in band and went to college if I knew it would be this lit like damn lol.
Definitely a intro of a lifetime!
This is very organized on the drumlines' behalf. Wow just wow.
This is my first time seeing this and I have to say, I got nothing but love and respect for NSU right now. This one of the best entrances I have seen in a long time. If this is a competition, they got my vote.
The highsteps throughout were absolutely impeccable. Crazy work there
Damn that drumline was so good! Sent chills down my spine. So crisp.
