Step into the vibrant world of a French vide grenier with us, where hidden treasures await at every turn. In this captivating video, we invite you to join our exploration of the bustling flea markets that dot the charming landscapes of France.
As we wander through the maze of stalls and tables, the air is filled with excitement and anticipation. From vintage trinkets to antique furniture, each corner holds the promise of uncovering a unique find that tells a story of its own.
I like the way the tool guy displays his tools on old sacks it makes them stand out
You definitely found the winning booth. The items are wonderful. The craftsmanship is definitely a lost art in a world of mass production. The talent and time put into making these tools is a rarity these days, but it’s wonderful to have these fairs where you can find these treasures. xx
Sean I think you need to get that stained glass door. You could use it in the cottage bathroom. It would let in colorful light into a room that may not normally see a lot of light.
It has a skylight
We used the pie makers in the campfire by using slices of bread with pizza sauce, cheese, etc to make pizza pies and also cherry or pie filling to make hand pies.
those farrier nips are for trimming the hoof, like fingernail clippers, before filing the hoof and fitting the horseshoes
Hello all love these walks through flea markets😊
I loved looking at all those old tools, and those bowls were lovely. When Sam said look at this Rolex watch and you replied "I think it begins with a B" lmao 😂 Another great day out Sean. Thankyou.
Isn't it the best feeling when you find treasures? I love seeing what all of the vendors have, cool stuff. Great video! I vote thumbs up for a waffle video.
I’d love to see waffles made with that waffle iron!
I almost cried when I saw that Lily of the Valley there, it’s my favourite flower but I can’t grow it here in Auckland because it doesn’t get cold enough in winter.
Nice purchases! I could spend days looking at all the different things.
Wow what a great sale!
Sean, you got some great finds. Those tools were so interesting. There were so many I didn't see before. Take care of that ankle.
Some interesting finds and still lots more to be found. I like that way of doing the yard sales too. Have a great day
You need to buy (then grow) some Catnip plants for your Kitties. A couple of old suitcases for cat beds too. Yard Sales always have hidden Gems❤
My children use to collect the telephone cards before mobile phones 😂😂😂
Hi from South Africa. Cottage looking good Sean, be careful with your ankle sprain
Loved the metal buys and the huge bowls. You made a haul, Hercules. Nice to see Lady Sam, too. A fun, cloudy, cool day.
Love the door! Hey Sean the door you can buy and put behind the new bar and have as a feature with a light behind and even a faux door! Buy it! ahaha
A classic old English tractor, there with you in France...
The nipper style pliers are for trimming a horses hoof.
Looks like you had fun. I would have been at that grilled sausage booth getting some Nom noms ! LOL
Thanks for sharing your adventure! I can't wait to see the video of the brewery. 👍👍
Looking forward to this one..👍
Did I just hear Sam say DIBS? Lol😅
It would be so nice to travel with you to theses sales.
I always love to go along on your brocante tours, totally fascinating. The iron and metal tools were the best and such a historical moment. I can only imagine the transitional point in time when they stopped tieing on the ball/peen of the hammer or axe end, and it became one whole piece, eureka! I'm not a tool collector so the big thrill for me was the 50's Modern orange, Le Creuset cassarole! What a great find. Thanks so much Sean.
Thanks for another very enjoyable video!
The stall you stopped on I loved the leather case and the black lamp! and the little bellows on your walk. That second one My dad would have loved that tool stall!
Shopping👍
Love the old tool stalls.
Great finds 🤗👍 ☕🍰☕🍰
Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
beautiful finds, sean!
No that tool is for Farrier and used for trimming the hoof of a bare foot horse/donkey etc. I have one
Chateau de Montmagner has one of those in their windows. Exactly the same.
Love the video Sean, great to look around with you x
A bread mixing bowl.
Lovely things.
I saw a faucet next to the gurgle fish. I need a faucet 😂
Those scissors are to be envied
For sale in my website www.welcometoseansworld.com
That was for a farrier to trim hooves.
Thank you for sharing 😊
Beautiful finds!
Some great finds Sean! 🙏❤️
👍😎🥰💖💜
My husband says those dairy bowls are for cooking teurgoule (French rice pudding).
Good haul Sean !❤
Crutches Sean and ice your ankle keep foot up.
On the mend now thanks
Sean you need a cane, and a third hand for the camera. Always remember half the fun of shopping is in the chase, the other half is finding someone else to pay for it. Mom had one about the size 13 that I used when I made bread. I just purchased a cast iron waffle iron. Eels were raised for the aristocracy and nobles.
That tool stall is also known as a "wallet smasher".
Quality always costs
Sean...this is not a gripe ....but when you go to these markets./fairs .would it be possible to skim the camera over the stall .So we can have a gander at wats available ..lots of love 💌💗💜💙 from down under ..
I vote for the waffle video
Welcome To Sean's Waffle World.
