Made several jumps with the USAF CCT, when stationed at Wiesbaden AB, Germany. (68-72). They worked out of the same building that the Army Jump School used (was called the European Ft. Benning). I was an Avionics Mtn type - but "filled in" if the CCT needed "a fourth" on demonstration jumps, i.e. Armed Forces Day at Rhein Maine AB, Frankfurt. This was WAY back in the day - I was jumping my trusty old Paracommander - now, we're talking ancient history! :) Had a lot of jumps with the Army, at Wiesbaden AB - that's where qualification jumps were done. (we free fallers got one more run with as much altitude as the Helo could get - not a great deal, but was a free jump. :) Also, at Manheim, Germany.Fun days. Ret. MSgt. B-6370 & N-6395T

Ah…..Badass Baden. Not to mention Manheim. Those were “the days” huh? Betcha find yourself sitting at red lights zoning out and thinking about those beautiful frauleins walking around at various harvest festivals/Octoberfests, the fall colors, a touch of pre winter chill in the air. Ah……
