@Yo ming You have way less control with round parachute than with a ram-air one. And a good jumper, as the seals are supposed to be, can reach the boat no problem with such a parachute (ram-air). In fact, they will land much closer to each others and the boat with a ram-air. Ram-air=precision.

I've never seen ANYONE jump out of an airplane without a helmet of some kind on. Not sure what the advantage is other than blowdrying your hair in under 3 seconds and/or getting used to performing airborne operations under the influence of a traumatic brain injury.
they could be floating down shoot open and hit a tree line or anything..helmet comes in handy
