Thank you! Yes, the solar “ready” plug on the sides of many travel trailers goes straight to the batteries. To use as intended, you have to use a portable solar panel with an on-board charge controller. I’m thinking about adding another plug to our trailer that goes to the Go Power charge controller. Then I can use some of the portable solar panels I already own. Maybe a future video?
