7:43 in my opinion, he probably said this because even though he won the battle, azhdaha didn't resist being sealed (or at least he tried to not resist) and zhongli didn't try to kill him, so this battle was not a one to decide who is stronger, this is why he couldn't claim to be stronger than him.
I worked in a dementia ward and I can confirm that people whose mind eroded can become violent. For example, one patient pulled the needles out of her and tried to stab me with them. That was a fun afternoon

I can only agree, I also like that he has proofs and statements and not only says that something is true like "yeah trust me" and it is also not boring to watch like you don´t fall asleep while listening. that is because of the design aswell, like videos,pictures,... and I also like the way he explains it since it always sounds logical and the words that are chosen are also perfect and yk like smart-sounding and even tho you can still understand what it means and I really like to watch those videos.I go on yt every week to watch these vids (also some other but mainly his videos) so basically if I had to rate it, I would also say 10/10. oh and what I should mention aswell, idk how it works to get all those informations from.for example some stuff is hidden in those books which you have to find in the game and then you have to read that whole shit (i tried it myself but gave up lmao) and imo its LITERALLY IMPRESSIVE how he can keep that in mind/write it down somewhere and understand it aswell as the explanations in those books are usually irritating (at least for me) and tbh I am always surprised. (this text is perhaps a bit too long but I really wanted to say that and sorry if there are any mistakes in the text)

thank you for this, i swear, zhongli is always one of the most misunderstood character in genshin. ppl always mistook his words and actions for something else. i love zhongli character, so it pains me. i really want this video to reach out to more people, i find your lore videos to be real informative!
i'd want to see your opinon about Guizhong tho, i find her to be really sus. i remember that dust was (kinder) like life in genshin. am not sure where i got it from. to be exact, by that dust can be compare to atoms in our world. and what's inside the dumbbell she gived Zhongli. how she die. and why she told zhongli to forget about it. not only that, LEAK AHEAD. a leaker goes by uncle A said Guizhong would be reincarnated and become playable. that's info really break out of genshin lore, in chinese, the empress would be represented as a phoenix while the emperor is represented as a dragon. Zhongli show himself as a dragon. and he(was) ruler of Liyue. Guizhong used to co-rule with him. so i would say that makes her empress. and a phoenix REINCARNATE from it aches. and aches can be compared to dust. and i feel like Genshin is using this, due to thefact we see many phoenix details in Liyue characters. i know that Guizhong is more like stardust but it think it can still work.
I honesly dont like the fact that guizhong will be brought back to life. It would kinda ruin the whole point of zhongli's character developpement and would make it pointless. Although it would be wholesome and nice to see zhongli and guizhong reunite again but i dont really like this idea
@@kim_genshin actually, I agree. The recantation pop out of nowhere. It’s a bit hard to process. Like many other, I’d find it better if she doesn’t reborn. I find her story with zhongli and ping to be tragic. And I’d like to keep it that way. Thanks for replying

@@kim_genshinCould you tell me how it would ruin zhongli's development? I've seen many say it but I can't find the reason since we don't know zhongli's thoughts or point of view of how she influenced him, for me the character that would be ruined is madam ping for obvious reasons.
@@michellreidtler3834 most of zhongli and adepti had to deal with many lost and grief. In the book of glaze lilies ( Genshin deleted it ) “ he had a unmovable expression, that is, until Guizhong death “ he properly shed tears or something. That one sentence shown that the lost of Guizhong lead the adepi to deal with the lost and grief for thousands of years.
We already know that Ping haven’t completely got over her yet. And while zhongli have not talked Guizhong directly, not that he ever talked about his personal life, in past books and small details like his grave ceremony, his dumbbell, Guizhong is somehow always connected to him. Even his name “Zhongli” is connected with Guizhong. I actually hope that next lantern rite is about then. After all, next year is the year of the dragon.
it’s not without a doubt that Guizhong death bring a lot of impact to the growth of Liyue and the adepti. Her death was tragic. And for her to be back, just like that. Feel likes everything that characters went though is quite meaningless.

When zhongli says he's weaker, he's being humble
And when azdaha says he's weaker, he isn't?
It's quite common in chinese stories that the protagonist is a humble person who doesn't minimize the value of his opponent. With zhongli being the protagonist of liyue, it's not a stretch to say he's humble (which he is). And even if this isnt convincing, looking back at their fight, morax literally dragged an angry azhdaha for a far distance then sealed him. Azhdaha himself noted that morax was capable of killing him but he hesitated because this isnt part of their contract. The reason why morax chose to seal azhdaha was because thats what they agreed on thousands of years ago. Even in their second fight, with them being both weaker than before, zhongli still won

Because zhongli needed the adepti to make a pathway or a realm for zhongli to seal azdaha, or else he most probably would fail
And it is also pretty much confirmed azdaha was slowly becoming disfigured and small because of erosion in his archive description
And about the current battle, traveler was there to help, and azdaha's good side aswell
@@Facto_Sapien10 I believe the traveler and the Kun Jun was only watching Zhongli fight. Kun Jun gave some buff but ZL was the one fighting. When you "die" to Azdaha in the story quest, Kun Jun will heal back your party HP and say "focus Rex Lapis" or something similar. It implies that we were actually controlling ZL there not the traveler.

To be more specific,
Look back at the raiden Vs Ei fight, Ei soloed her and we weren't able to use our team
Aswell as in the scaramouche boss fight when wanderer soloed scaramouche
@@Facto_Sapien10 The fight with raiden was cut short and we were supposed to go outside and go back later not winning right there. The fight with azd requires he to be defeated and it would take hours for zhongli solo to beat azd because he has like 80% phys and geo res. So they let you use your party. Honkai Star Rail Jing Liu quest is the same. We are in the role of Dan Heng for the entire time, but we are allowed to bring the party while doing the quest because 1 character DH cannot beat the challenge.
I am not sure about wanderer solo scaramouche? When did that happen. Wasn't he the boss. I don't remember him fighting himself in his quest either
Hey girl! I just wanna ask like how safe is Liyue really? Idk where to find the fact Liyuens keeps their doors unlocked thanks to the protection of Adepti came from but currently on a freaking battle with someone who keeps saying that Inazuma is far safer than Liyue (Srly I already pointed the Decree, the division and more that makes Inazuma so unsafe... they're still going at it)
I never knew liyueans keep their doors unlocked.. Well in my opinion i think Liyue is more safe then Inazuma. Yeah Raiden is super strong but as we have seen in the quests, delusions were given to the watasumi soldiers that backfired at them, conflicts and wars, thunder strikes, electrocuted waters areas. And if it weren't for the traveler, tatarigami's corruption would still exist as well as the Mikage Furnace would be out of control. And if it weren't for the traveler once again, raiden ei would still be in her plane then the decree would still exist. And if it weren't fot the traveler once once again, ei would still be stuck fighting the shogun possibly forever which would make inazuma an archonless nation. Not to mention the fact that only 2 out of the 6 islands of inazuma are the safest and most habitable (excluding enkanomiya since it is its own nation and doesnt belong to inazuma).
Liyue on the other hand, has the adepti which are very strong. For instance, xiao stated to be able to deal with beisht alone, meanwhile we've seen the entirety of liyue ganging up together to defeat it. There's also shenhe who also stated that she can deal with beisht alone. And let's not forget that beisht oneshotted the traveler who had 3 elements at the time and fainted for a little while. Honorable mention to Ningguang, Ganyu and Beidou who are are strong individuals, the technology of the jade chamber and the variety of weapons of the crux. And most importantly the geo god himself who acts behind the scenes like that one time when he saved xiao in the chasm. And the fact that most of liyue is protected and habitable. (Sorry for taking so long to reply i was writing all of this😭)

I mean, the trouble in Liyue wouldn't happen if Zhongli didn't orchastrated the whole thing for his retirement and it's debatable if Liyuen's could've beaten Osial even without the traveller (They probably can since they have the adepti helping, even leanding us boosts that helped us a lot on keeping the fatuus back, even on plunging the Jade Chamber it was Ningguang's idea and I'd argue they could've have Xiao or another powerhouse to plunge it down). But the rest was all part of Zhongli's plan. The main thing they needed our help in is the funeral of Rex Lapis...which Zhongli could've found someone else to help with, where was Hutao during that section of the quest anyway? She was in Liyue before the fight started...
Monstadt too could've been resolved if the traveler didn't interrupted Venti's attempt...debatable but he was able to come into contact with Dvalin until we interrupted... (I guess the tear things but I think they only needed to cleanse them to fix the lyre to which opens the Stormterror area...again, didn't really need to happen if Venti was able so save Dvalin in the beggining...)
The rest have actual trouble...
Inazuma pretty much repressed and needs a better leader (Ei is a strong warrior and not much for leadership, plus can'r really deny she's the trouble in Inazuma and that's just Inazuma City and Watatsumi, and yep the other islands are a whole other trouble of their own)
Sumaru, the people themselves are the problem and a growing threat, kinda shows that without proper guidance, a nation can cross a a dark path... (Sure Liyue individuals have shady buisness practices but most of them are brought to justice or resolved)
Speaking of Justice, Fontaine is in a middle ground where the main problem is the laws they have, most are good but a lot are odd. Shady buisnesses which are worst than Liyue (Fricking child trafficking, first time we've witnessed a person murdered)
Natlan may either be a thriving nation or more repressed than Inazuma due to us not meeting anyone there so far.
Am I wrong in any of this? So far the first 2 nations is the only archon quests that feel could've have ended just fine even without the traveller's interference, meanwhile Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine needed the traveller to resolve their crisis.

Erosion doesnt reduce power it only causes memory loss. And Azhdaha himself that morax is capable of killing him and is stronger than him
@@kim_genshin I think this is not quite true. Azhdaha states on numerous occasions that it caused him great suffering and even in his description it describes that various kinds of erosion ground his body and mind away. It was killing him and he would have died and reincarnated at the start of not for seal weakening.
Iirc, in CN the quote about Zhongli being the strongest was more about will power against erosion, doesn't really focus on strength as raw power.
Also, the quote about Zhongli being able to kill him is also taken out of context, I believe. He doesn't say that Zhongli could kill him, they were talking about Azhdaha being an eternal being as a dragon and Azhdaha says, if he wasn't an eternal being, Zhongli could have killed him long ago and not have to deal with Azhdaha returning again. The quote is something like this "were it not so, you would have killed me long ago, and thus not have to be facing me again now." In response to Zhongli who said, "I do not pretend to match your rhetoric, where concerns a life long lived. I fear the life of an eternal being is longer than any other in this world."
