What is a name? Isn't faith what matters. When the sons of sceva used the name of Jesus remember what happened? The name is not what is important it is whether we know Jesus. Let us not judge eachother by these things. Jesus knows us. If we know him we will understand that he hears our prayer whether we call him yahshua, Jesus, Lord, Father..isn't it one God we serve although he is called these many names?. Let us know him. This has been where I have always been. God is not worried about how I pronounce His name. Atleast with me He is not. He is worried about my heart. He is worried about the sincere love I have for Him with all of my heart and He is worried that I live my life for Him out of a pure and authentic place of love for Him with all of my heart. A childlike, simplistic and totally authentic love for Him with all of my heart. And outside of that manifest a true and authentic faithful lifestyle of love, holiness and righteousness from that place of love for Him with all of my heart. Everything outside of that is secondary. Personally, and this is just me, the true name stuff just seems like MORE doctrinal divisiveness. Now and unless you have no judgement or a sense of spiritual superiority over another believer because you know Gods true name as you say, and you aren’t on a mission to correct the church. And you honor those like myself who prefer to call Him Jesus as equal brothers and sisters in Christ. Then we are all good. But personally for me, this has been as I have seen in my experience within the church a minor issue that has become a wedge. I know one thing for certain. When I use the name Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit begins to move on the area I am in. And when I have cast demons out of people and places, the name Jesus Christ is 100% efficient and effective at striking fear and terror into the demonic spirit in a way that is inhumanly incomprehensible. So I really do not see how the name Jesus Christ is spiritually a problem. There’s POWER in that name. Real incomprehensible spiritual power. So... yeah. Hopefully you can see from my perspective. And I am glad if you have found peace in this revelation. Please I pray you don’t use it as an opportunity for judgemental divisiveness. There is so much of that cancer already in our church. As I have seen within this true name stuff. (My uncle in perticular) All God really cares about is a true and authentic heart before Him. If you are more concerned as a believer about proper pronunciation than you are about living a pure, holy, love fueled, righteous lifestyle before Him. Then you need your priorities straightened out. If you do research you will find that the letter J was never in the Hebrew or Greek alphabet and today is still not. The letter J was not in the Latin/English alphabet until the year 1630 ad and is less than 400 years in existence. I agree that the Lamb of Elohim is Yahushua, but we must not forget there were not vowels in the written language of Aramaic and Phoenician, which used "Hand Behold, Nail Behold", to describe the Name of our Heavenly Father, YHWH Elohim. Some may say this is YaHWaH, YaHVaH, YAHWeH, or even YiHWuH or with any vowels in combination to mean "I AM, WHO I AM" or just "I AM", our Father's forever name. His namke was denoted by "Nail Behold, Hand Behold". I AM Salvation remains YaHuSHua's name... in my opinion... We are close but noone really knows how it was pronounced when the Lamb of Elohim walked the earth. Peace!

And...since the Father commanded us to NOT SPEAK the names of false gods (Exodus 23:13..."make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth"), doesn't it just make sense that the devil/satan would try to ERASE the Name of the ONLY ONE TRUE GOD, YHWH! You guys do know that every language has a variant pronunciation of Jesus. Arabic it's Yesua, Korean its Yesu nim etc. I notice the dear sister said Holy spirit which is English, not Hebrew. Jesus is the English translation of the Greek Iesous where the J sound was introduced about 4 centuries ago as the English language evolved. That's why we have translations of the Bible. Now you can say Yeshua or Yehushua or Messiach or Yahweh or Yahuah or whatever Hebrew variant that has been "revealed" to you. But when you speak in English this becomes confusing to most people. If you are reading a Hebrew Bible then that's fine. P.s. The NT is writen in Greek so Jesus is called Iesous Christos and Kairos for Lord etc. If Jesus name should always be pronounced in Hebrew then why did God allow the NT to be written in Greek? But, there's a misunderstanding of that verse - He's speaking in the moment, not what's to come, and references the individual's own name, (like Bob, Jeffrey, Rick, whatever) not His name specifically. As KJV describes: "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." John 5:43 Reading other translations, NLT, AMP, & TPT, they describe this verse in the same way (with more clarity for the modern believers). Reading more of that chapter will clear things up! What is a name? Isn't faith what matters. When the sons of sceva used the name of Jesus remember what happened? The name is not what is important it is whether we know Jesus. Let us not judge eachother by these things. Jesus knows us. If we know him we will understand that he hears our prayer whether we call him yahshua, Jesus, Lord, Father..isn't it one God we serve although he is called these many names?. Let us know him.
I share this because I was at one point condemned by the devil for not saying yahshua but the LORD gave me understanding that whatever name of his we call..we are calling him. Why does your translation of Scripture mention the Name "YHWH" in the preface, but substitute the English word "LORD" for it in the text? If the letter "J" is less than 500 years old, why use it in the Name "Jesus"? Isn't His real Name more like Y'shua, Yahusha, or Yahushua? This has been where I have always been.
God is not worried about how I pronounce His name. Atleast with me He is not. He is worried about my heart. He is worried about the sincere love I have for Him with all of my heart and He is worried that I live my life for Him out of a pure and authentic place of love for Him with all of my heart. A childlike, simplistic and totally authentic love for Him with all of my heart. And outside of that manifest a true and authentic faithful lifestyle of love, holiness and righteousness from that place of love for Him with all of my heart.
Everything outside of that is secondary.
Personally, and this is just me, the true name stuff just seems like MORE doctrinal divisiveness. Now and unless you have no judgement or a sense of spiritual superiority over another believer because you know Gods true name as you say, and you aren’t on a mission to correct the church. And you honor those like myself who prefer to call Him Jesus as equal brothers and sisters in Christ. Then we are all good. But personally for me, this has been as I have seen in my experience within the church a minor issue that has become a wedge.
I know one thing for certain. When I use the name Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit begins to move on the area I am in. And when I have cast demons out of people and places, the name Jesus Christ is 100% efficient and effective at striking fear and terror into the demonic spirit in a way that is inhumanly incomprehensible. So I really do not see how the name Jesus Christ is spiritually a problem. There’s POWER in that name. Real incomprehensible spiritual power.

If you do research you will find that the letter J was never in the Hebrew or Greek alphabet and today is still not. The letter J was not in the Latin/English alphabet until the year 1630 ad and is less than 400 years in existence. Holy Spirit led me to this in 2007...YAHWEH has made known to me that names are very important that is why I call out His name when thanking Him or praying...also when I read my King James Bible I put His Name in where it should be and I also have a New Jerusalem Bible which has YAHWEH in it.

Patricia, just a question: Jesus' followers, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter and James first wrote about the Messiah in the first century A.D. and their writings were later collected into what is now called the "New Testament". So when they originally wrote their books and letters, did they use the name Yahushua or Iesous?
They would have used His correct name YAHUSHUA because that is what they would have known Him by and called Him when He walked this earth.

The messiah's name was changed however God looks at the heart and the intent of the heart when we call on that name. Once we come into the real truth we are then accountable for the name that we use. Yahshua.

I agree that the Lamb of Elohim is Yahushua, but we must not forget there were not vowels in the written language of Aramaic and Phoenician, which used "Hand Behold, Nail Behold", to describe the Name of our Heavenly Father, YHWH Elohim. Some may say this is YaHWaH, YaHVaH, YAHWeH, or even YiHWuH or with any vowels in combination to mean "I AM, WHO I AM" or just "I AM", our Father's forever name. His namke was denoted by "Nail Behold, Hand Behold". I AM Salvation remains YaHuSHua's name... in my opinion...

Please understand that the Revelation of the truth was given from His 7-fold Holy Spirit (the Ruach Ha Kodesh: the breaths/winds/voice of the Spirit), in answer to diligent seeking, fasting, prayer and research. Years ago, Father brought this sharply and clearly into focus for me.

To clarify: the *key point* of missing historical information you need to know is that in the early 8th century AD (the 700’s) the Masoretic Jews incorrectly added vowel points to the Hebrew Tetragrammaton and accidentally treated it as “one word;” but it was originally *2 ancient root words* as “YH VH” not as one word “YHVH.”
This is how over time, it was later transcribed as “Jehovah.” Yet the vowels were all wrong.
In reverence to the Holy Name, they would substitute the title, “Adonai.” So vowel marks were often in place from the 8th century forward, but inserted while crunching the letters together- thus adding a “ou” or “u” sound between the 2 original Words used!
“Adonai" was nearly always spoken instead of saying the Holy name inside or outside of the synagogue. The scribes themselves used a “shorthand” often abbreviating the 4 letters to just *”H’”*
And - in the Hebrew translation of the book of Matthew (which is considerably older than the Greek copy used in the Bible) the scribes would abbreviate “Y’Shua” where “YahShua” should’ve been written.
In Ancient Hebrew, however the original Tetragrammaton is actually *2 ROOT words*:
YH: name and VH: main character attribute
Where:
*Yah* = I AM
*Veh* = the only invisible, honorable, eternally existent one
Paul noted that the whole family in heaven is called in this name and we were told to baptize in “*the name*” of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.. one Name....

came IN THE NAME of His Father, Yah.
Yah = I AM
Shua = Salvation (key attribute)
*YahShua means “I AM Salvation!”*
Yehoshua/Yeshua/Yahushua are variations of Hebrew spellings for Joshua which means “God is Salvation” or “God/Yah Saves.”
However, there are many men named “Joshua” or even Hispanic men named “Jesus” but there is *only ONE name* under heaven whereby men must be saved; and there is only ONE man, in all creation... only one Son of God (Yah) who was begotten of a Virgin, who laid His life down on the cross for our sin and salvation and took it up again!
There is only one Son of Man/Son of Yah who can call Himself “YahShua” which boldly claims:
*”I AM Salvation!”*
The Old Testament Joshua is a "picture" or "figure" a symbol of the Real Messiah.... YahShua!
For just as Moses gave the Torah but did not take the Israelites to the promised Land - it had to be Joshua to lead them home - it was to testify/show that flesh will never be delivered by the deeds of the law - it is BY FAITH not of works lest any man should boast... Joshua is a figure of YahShua leading us home to our Father!
Again in *Zechariah chapter 3,* you see Christ twice - in reverse chronological order in fact!
First, we see YahShua as the high priest "Joshua" as another symbolic and literal example of the messiah - Christ (who is a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek and is really YahShua).
You see Him, Joshua/YahShua as He must have appeared immediately after His crucifixion- because He is standing before the throne of Our Father in filthy dirty clothes (which are symbolically and literally OUR SINS), with Satan standing there to oppose Him, accusing Him!
Father then clears YahShua/Joshua as innocent and commands a change of clean white linen raiment (clothing) - symbolic of His purity, His innocence, His righteousness- to be brought and a fair mitre (crown) upon His head.
YahShua is also the 7 eyes in Zechariah chapter 4 and the “7 eyes upon one stone” and the salvation of Israel and all men:
*Zechariah 3:9*
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon *one stone shall be seven eyes:* behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and *I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.*
And we see Joshua being given instructions as though it was before His incarnation - as speaking of Him walking in all Father’s laws and it mentions his fellows (disciples) who are men wondered at - they are a sign to that generation!

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and *thy fellows that sit before thee*: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant *the Branch.*
So... Here is TESTIMONY from both the time of Moses and Zechariah (let every word be confirmed out of the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses).
Here, we see Father showing us the NAME and figure of the Messiah who will deliver all men from sin to the Kingdom of Heaven!
Joshua means "God is Salvation" but The only begotten Son of the Father and born of a Virgin - is the only one named

Some of the changes in pronunciation are simply caused by changes in regional dialect!
For instance: The “YahWeh” Name is Egyptian dialect for “Yah Veh.” There is an ancient steele that records census information on the Hebrews (comes from Haibaru meaning “shepherds.”) who were settled in the best land because of Joseph - they are mentioned as the “Shasu of YahWeh.”
In Hebrew the “V” is “Vav” but Egypt is where the “V” started blending into the sound “W.”
We are blessed to be living in the day where the latter rain in being poured out abundantly and truth is being restored as Father promised it would be!

Father winked at past generations who had less knowledge available- He honored the names they used because they had the Seal of the Holy Spirit - which is that *He KNOWS those that are His* - He Knew them - and they worshipped in Spirit and all of the truth they knew at the time.
Indeed most of us came to Salvation saying, “Jesus,” like a baby utters “dada;” and Father accepted us as his sweet newborn babes in the Spirit; but we all must grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ in our Spirit man. So then we can identify our Father by Name and tell Him apart from liars and impostors!

To clarify: the *key point* of missing historical information you need to know is that in the early 8th century AD (the 700’s) the Masoretic Jews incorrectly added vowel points to the Hebrew Tetragrammaton and accidentally treated it as “one word;” but it was originally *2 ancient root words* as “YH VH” not as one word “YHVH.”
This is how over time, it was later transcribed as “Jehovah.” Yet the vowels were all wrong.
In reverence to the Holy Name, they would substitute the title, “Adonai.” So vowel marks were often in place from the 8th century forward, but inserted while crunching the letters together- thus adding a “ou” or “u” sound between the 2 original Words used!
“Adonai" was nearly always spoken instead of saying the Holy name inside or outside of the synagogue. The scribes themselves used a “shorthand” often abbreviating the 4 letters to just *”H’”*
And - in the Hebrew translation of the book of Matthew (which is considerably older than the Greek copy used in the Bible) the scribes would abbreviate “Y’Shua” where “YahShua” should’ve been written.
In Ancient Hebrew, however the original Tetragrammaton is actually *2 ROOT words*:
YH: name and VH: main character attribute
Where:
*Yah* = I AM
*Veh* = the only invisible, honorable, eternally existent one
Paul noted that the whole family in heaven is called in this name and we were told to baptize in “*the name*” of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.. one Name....

came IN THE NAME of His Father, Yah.

Shua = Salvation (key attribute)
*YahShua means “I AM Salvation!”*
Yehoshua/Yeshua/Yahushua are variations of Hebrew spellings for Joshua which means “God is Salvation” or “God/Yah Saves.”
However, there are many men named “Joshua” or even Hispanic men named “Jesus” but there is *only ONE name* under heaven whereby men must be saved; and there is only ONE man, in all creation... only one Son of God (Yah) who was begotten of a Virgin, who laid His life down on the cross for our sin and salvation and took it up again!
There is only one Son of Man/Son of Yah who can call Himself “YahShua” which boldly claims:

The Old Testament Joshua is a "picture" or "figure" a symbol of the Real Messiah.... YahShua!
For just as Moses gave the Torah but did not take the Israelites to the promised Land - it had to be Joshua to lead them home - it was to testify/show that flesh will never be delivered by the deeds of the law - it is BY FAITH not of works lest any man should boast... Joshua is a figure of YahShua leading us home to our Father!
Again in *Zechariah chapter 3,* you see Christ twice - in reverse chronological order in fact!
First, we see YahShua as the high priest "Joshua" as another symbolic and literal example of the messiah - Christ (who is a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek and is really YahShua).
You see Him, Joshua/YahShua as He must have appeared immediately after His crucifixion- because He is standing before the throne of Our Father in filthy dirty clothes (which are symbolically and literally OUR SINS), with Satan standing there to oppose Him, accusing Him!
Father then clears YahShua/Joshua as innocent and commands a change of clean white linen raiment (clothing) - symbolic of His purity, His innocence, His righteousness- to be brought and a fair mitre (crown) upon His head.
YahShua is also the 7 eyes in Zechariah chapter 4 and the “7 eyes upon one stone” and the salvation of Israel and all men:
*Zechariah 3:9*
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon *one stone shall be seven eyes:* behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and *I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.*
And we see Joshua being given instructions as though it was before His incarnation - as speaking of Him walking in all Father’s laws and it mentions his fellows (disciples) who are men wondered at - they are a sign to that generation!

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and *thy fellows that sit before thee*: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant *the Branch.*
So... Here is TESTIMONY from both the time of Moses and Zechariah (let every word be confirmed out of the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses).
Here, we see Father showing us the NAME and figure of the Messiah who will deliver all men from sin to the Kingdom of Heaven!

In Hebrew the “V” is “Vav” but Egypt is where the “V” started blending into the sound “W.”

You guys do know that every language has a variant pronunciation of Jesus. Arabic it's Yesua, Korean its Yesu nim etc. I notice the dear sister said Holy spirit which is English, not Hebrew. Jesus is the English translation of the Greek Iesous where the J sound was introduced about 4 centuries ago as the English language evolved. That's why we have translations of the Bible. Now you can say Yeshua or Yehushua or Messiach or Yahweh or Yahuah or whatever Hebrew variant that has been "revealed" to you. But when you speak in English this becomes confusing to most people. If you are reading a Hebrew Bible then that's fine. P.s. The NT is writen in Greek so Jesus is called Iesous Christos and Kairos for Lord etc. If Jesus name should always be pronounced in Hebrew then why did God allow the NT to be written in Greek? I am not saying using Hebrew is wrong, just not necessary, and sometime confusing.

Paul and all of the disciples were Asiatic in appearance, as were the original Egyptians and Ethiopians. They did not look like Greeks, Romans, and Germans. That is why the centurion captain asked Paul if he was an Egyptian.
All of the nations descended from Noah. According to the tenth chapter of Genesis, Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of the Africans. Therefore, Ham could not have been a Caucasian man. Japheth was the father of the Black European. Therefore, Japheth had to be an Negroid man, like his brother Ham. Shem was the father of the Middle Easterners, the Indians of India. In reality we are all one family upon the earth, with common ancestors! The nations of antiquity were all of the Negroid type. If all three of Noah's sons gave birth to people of color, Noah himself must have been of the Negroid type also, and going all the way back to Adam.
The skin color of Yahusha is described as being dark: as if it was burned in a furnace.
Revelation 1:14-15 [His head and his hairs were white like wool, white as snow (Yahusha suffered a lot, and went gray early in life), and his eyes were as a flame of fire (reddish), and his feet like unto fine brass as if they burned in a furnace!]
Brass is already brown, like a doorknob; anything burned has to get very dark from
oxidation. And Yahusha's feet were the same color as the rest of his body: dark brass!
Hi since this was nearly 10 months ago, by now you've probably come to know The Father's name is Yahuah, which is why the Messiah came in The Father's name Yahuah and why his name is Yahushua. Yahushua did prophesy that he'd come in his Father's name and we'd receive him not, but another would come in his own name (jesus) and him we would we receive....we must get back to the Messiah of scripture and not the 'messiah' of religion. That is a great point about God and His Son's name!
But, there's a misunderstanding of that verse - He's speaking in the moment, not what's to come, and references the individual's own name, (like Bob, Jeffrey, Rick, whatever) not His name specifically. As KJV describes:
"I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." John 5:43
Reading other translations, NLT, AMP, & TPT, they describe this verse in the same way (with more clarity for the modern believers).
Reading more of that chapter will clear things up! Try John 5: 37-44
