- With the Morannon Orcs loose in Osgiliath, Damrod leads the Rangers of Ithilian to counter-attack! Games Workshop was kind enough to send me the new collection of models from the Battle of Osgiliath Starter Set and I'm working my way through the four mission Campaign from the box!

That scenario seemed designed to make the Gondor player feel good. Excellent illustration of why the bow limit is a thing though.

Where did you guys get the turn counter die? I haven’t seen it on any stl sites.
A couple of points about climbing;
Climbing counts as difficult terrain, so halves movement.
You need some way of actually climbing, so a miniature can't just fly up to a floor. You need a wall or something.

You do a very good job of explaining and promoting this game. My dilemma is that I have a collection of Middle Earth models, but no Armies of Middle Earth book to know points values or army abilities. Since GW doesn't have this on their website, and no longer offers the book, I'm left in the dark. When I have tried to find it on Ebay, it has not been available. Is this information anywhere else on line? I don't plan on playing competitively, but I would like to have points to make fair games.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Thanks. I hadn't checked recently. I didn't want it digitally and I keep finding The Hobbit armies. I'll Keep checking. Your videos have got me pulling out my Pelennor Fields scenarios out to play while I'm waiting for my Osgiliath box. I appreciate the story that results from a skirmish game such as you presented.

Thanks for the video, really helpful. Can I just ask, why is it that American & Canadian LOTR fans (who are clearly knowledgable about Tolkien’s works) consistently mispronounce “Sauron”? They will say Sau-ron like “Sore”-on rather than Sau as in “cow”? It’s not like it’s an unusual or difficult vowel sound in American/Canadian English - you say words like “how”, “now”, “wow” surely almost every day. It has always baffled me tbh. It is Sau-ron (Sau as in cow, not Sau as in Sore).
Heroes do not count towards bow model count.
