- Hey everyone, sorry for the delay with this Sneak Peak, the Handling machine did not want to cooperate with me, and my IRL job has gotten more demanding recently.
It's not perfect, but it's getting better over time. Everything you see in the video is subject to change by the time the update is released. Feel free to suggest things to change on my discord server!

Hell yea that looks sick. I know something u should add to it. You should add the claws or whatever they're called on the handling machine. They could work like this: The handling machine would see the player and grab him to toss him in the basket and grind him up but if the player enters a house they could search it in hopes of finding the player.
Joy is aware, this is just testing how it might move in towns.
Grind? I think the basket does not grind thats only in underfooked version
@@KrinX-n1l No the basket does grind. But I recently learned that that was only in the musical. A handlers purpose is to drink the blood of humans. Red weed comes from the cylinders.

Bugs and glitches aside, I think that Handling machine is going to be absolutely terrifying when it is added to the game. I could imagine hearing it's loud and uncanny roar and robotic footsteps gradually getting louder and I look to the side of the building and notice the machine climbing down the wall of a house and start chasing me. Or I try and look for it only to notice that it is right behind me getting ready to grab me and suck the blood out of me.

if you look at the folders on the side of screen, you can see stuff like "tracks", "weatherrain", and some other things. maybe they are unrealeased features
tracks must be the mechanism of the fighting machine/handling machine to search for players, the weatherrain probably is the skybox
@@lunarlight69 tracks would not make sense to be a tracking system for a machine, its probaly a train track, as thats a very requested feature. and skyboxes dont go in the workspace, they go in lighting
thatl looks a little janky but its progress and its terrifying how it jumps around like that

I have ideas to make it better , AND I HOPE YOU MAKE IT
1-make handler machine body more long and make him has a hand to take the player and kill it
2-add military to attract the fighting machine to make us kill it

sense the martians in jeff waynes war of the worlds can only make one sound (being ULLA), i personaly think the sounds could be changed to like a diffrent pitched ULLA or something simalar
just to add on to a few things i think could be added:
1: firearms, things taht have been wanted for a while, you can rarly find them around the map in those shop like buildings and ammo is spread about (the gun could be like a musket or a early rifle.
2: shovels, to go underground. found in shops around the map, and are more common than a rifle.
3: fortafication building tools, ALSO found ti shops. and inbetween the gun and shovel, you can make things like chairs, tables, and sandbags. you need to spend time building them before they are there (like just hit it with the tool or something).

it would probably scout the places the fighting machine just left to make sure idk,
I would just like to ask; how do you make your sound effects? Also, if you make your own sound effects what do you use to make them?
First I find a sound sample that is somewhat similar to what I want to create, either by finding it online or creating it using synth virtual instruments.
Then, I load that sound file into the program Audacity, and I randomly apply different effects until it sounds good!

Finally its almost here.
Can you please add a firearm. With limited amo that can be found across the map. This would add another to tackle the aliens especially the Handling Machine which is a more agil and quick enemy. Although firearms might not make sense and would be useless in a situation like this it would fun and would increase tension when fighting an alien as you would have to watch out for your ammo.

Hey Joy it would be cool if yoy add harvesters back to legacy and add moving npcs because when a tripod was gonna probe and an npc was very close to the house the tripod spotted it and i got killed
