Oh my God, Caitríona Balfe is magnificent! She is so beautiful, talented, charming, enchanting, with elegance and a wonderful voice, an actress on the same level as Audrey Hepburn! Without a doubt, she is the quintessence of feminine beauty! Her performance as Claire is absolutely divine, whether as a young girl or a middle-aged woman, always so intelligent, courageous, full of sweetness, kindness, courage and very loving. Outlander is worth every minute when this stunning Irish actress is on screen. Indeed, how could Hollywood ignore Caitríona Balfe for so long? From Brazil, with love!

I LOVE Caitriona but I must say that Sam is the soul of Outlander ..he brings the light and joy in the interviews..

Did Catriona THINK she WOULD have time to read the books for this season?! 😂 ..I didn't read anything except car seat and pack n' play (etc.) instruction manuals for a few years after my kids were born! I am just SO grateful that she has come back for a S7 and S8 with a newborn/toddler at home!!! Grateful for Maril too, of course!!! These two women ROCK!

Excellent discussion re: gender roles and misogyny.. I recall rehearsing for a performance and my partner asked if I could work for another hour before his wife called him for supper. I responded, "You forget, I AM THE WIFE in my house."

Wonderful interview!! These women ...all...are so AMAZING!! I love their characters (thank u Diana) but I continued to learn so much and be completely impressed by who they are personally! I have to brag cuz I got all the trivia questions right cuz I am a huge fan😂😂❤❤

I hope Jamie and Claire get to meet Roger went he goes back to Scotland looking for Jemmy, but it seems like Roger is gonna travel too many years in the past, that Jamie is just a teenager.

I'll never understand why Caitriona wasn't told about the ending. I guess Sam is the man and Diana prefers him to Cait.

DG only told him about Jamie's ghost in the first episode not about the end of the book series, but I agree with you about ignoring Caitriona.
I don't think she ignored Caitriona, don't create drama that doesn't exist. She only told Sam because she felt it was necessary for him to know for the character of Jamie. It wasn't necessary for Cait to know and maybe she didn't want to know! Would you want the ending spoiled for you?

that’s the reason why I have a hard time supporting female actresses for the most part is, a lot of them seem angry, and demeaning towards men. Some men are misogynist, but some men are the greatest man in the world and they don’t get any credit for it. also, making inflammatory comments like, “ we as women are going to take over the world “ … once again, belittling and demeaning men. we need to come to a place where we are recognized for our differences, and held in mutual respect without one being superior over the other.
