    If you could have printed the hounds tooth longer, you wouldn't have the scarf welds to screw everything up. Awesome knife.

    That is awesome but I’m confused… wouldn’t the plastic melt and contaminate your steel??

    • @deerlickridgeforge6139
      @deerlickridgeforge6139  Před 2 lety +1

      It's not plastic, it's organic based filament. It's basically corn starch and it burns up to nothing but carbon that gets absorbed into the steel

    What type of spray you use? 1095 and 1095 with 4%nickel its good?

    • @deerlickridgeforge6139
      @deerlickridgeforge6139  Před 5 měsíci +1

      White spray paint, and I used 1084 and 1084+4%ni but 1095 would work just as well if you can find it with added Ni. I wouldn't combine 1095 with 1084 for heat treating purposes

      @@deerlickridgeforge6139Does the paint have to be a specific one? I have 1095 and 1095 plus 4% nickel

      I have this Bama knife priced at $1600, it would be somewhere similar to that. Go to my website and shoot me an email if you would like to proceed with a build!
