To each his own I guess but for me the only mags I trust my life to are.... *Lancer AWM L5 - SUPERB mags! Probably my favorite. *Magpul P-mags gen 2 and gen 3- as good as it gets. *ETS- I've heard some complain but mine have run flawlessly. *HK steel G.I. - heavy but 100% dependable no matter what. *Okay surefeed aluminum G.I. mags with Magpul yellow anti-tilt followers and high quality springs.- standard perfection *Duramag aluminum G.I.- excellent *Brownells aluminum G.I.- rock solid. *ProMag RM-30 (Roller Mag) - yeah I'm surprised too but these are excellent. They are the ONLY ProMag I'd ever recommend though. Mags I own but for training and target shooting ONLY- *Troy battlemag - great feeding, lightweight mags but the base plate design is GARBAGE! Stupidest engineering ever! Will NOT trust my life to them! *Magpul D60 - I own several but I've never seen one that doesnt malfunction. All of mine will suddenly and instantly unload themselves for no apparent reason. I've never tried Hexmag, MFT or any others but the above I can attest to 100%. Also....mag couplers. *Safariland - SUPERB! I use mine with aluminum G.I. mags but I'm sure theyd work with others as well, the Lancer AWM in particular would be a good match. Cant beat them at about $6 each! *Magpul couplers for gen 3 P-mags- excellent.

I’m a fan of the lancers as well. P mags are pretty standard too
