Did you have a ton of Vaseline on the barrel grooves and a lot of carbon upon first disassembly?
Just got one. Wanted to see if I liked the concept before spending a hundred bucks plus on the Gucci versions. It’s on my 47 and fits like a glove. Had to use a punch to get that little tab into the small hole on the back of the grip. No wiggle unless I really push hard on it. I like it so much I’ll never buy the expensive versions.
Same for me. Seemed good enough for the price.
I know the vid is 3 years old but had a qustion. Which of the grip textures would you say is the closest to the texture on the Shadow Systems guns?
How many picatinny slots does the magnifier take? I'd like to use a YHM 3 slot riser, since my 510c is also on a YHM 3 slot riser.
It takes up about 2” of tail space for the normal mount.
Thats a lot of work just to make it black again...

My first impression was "impressed". That was 2 years ago and still even more impressed today,
I know this is a video about the wedges, but I just checked Tier1 site to order a axis elite holster for my full size Walther PDP and I also have an Inforce Wild 2 but their drop down list doesn’t have an option for the Inforce anymore. Bummer! I already have an Axis Elite for my 5 inch PDP but they only offer it for the 4.5 inch PDP. It sticks out a half inch past the bottom of the holster, which is no big deal to me because the wedge keeps the end of the slide off of my skin. If it didn’t during high rojnd count training days, that would be a REAL hot spot. 😳
I took my red dot back and got the green on order...
I don't bother with malice clips anymore. Velcro One-Wrap is the way to go, especially on hook & loop inner / outer belt combos.

This has to be the best review I’ve seen on CZcams for this Sig Model. I plan on picking one up for sure. I have a p229 m11a1 and i recommend that to you. They make great DA/SA handguns !
Both are direct blow back. The scorpion’s bolt though has like half the travel distance so of course recoil impulse is shorter, making it feel jumpier.

Frustrating that if you stay at a hotel for long distance travel it seems you’d need to leave the locked box in the trunk “out of reach” where it is more likely to get stolen than if you brought it in with luggage. I’d even break it down to the point it is unfireable if that was an approved method of keeping it in sight to ensure it doesn’t end up in the wrong hands.
Hello, i have some troy industries flip up iron sights, would the romeo 5 do an absolute cowitness?
It depends on the height of the mount! The one that comes with it should run a cowitness, but you may have to swap out the riser! Hope that helps

I just got this one too, What's not clear is, when using the range finder at the top, do you use it at 1X or 6X? or does it matter? Do wish the throw arm are had a touch or rubber on the end of it for grip.
If you’re talking about a mounted RF, we didn’t attach one, but if you’re using the BDC to range find, use it on 1x. It’s a Second Focal Plane, so you when you zoom in, the scale is off. If you happen to have a First Focal Plane strike eagle, always zoom in. I was fine with the throw lever, but, putting some rubber on it would be a nice addition! Thanks for the comments!

Recently happened to me. Have a 507K X2. Change the battery annually. This year 2024 when I changed the battery it would not power back on. Had a cheap supply of batteries and thought that was the issue. Purchased a name-brand Energizer same thing. Removed the battery and let the dot sit at least 30 min. Problem resolved. My old supply of batteries worked too. Lesson Learmed. Almost sent back to Holosun as you did.
Wonder what the issue was? Seems like a reset did the trick.

@@RangeDay I use my wife’s cricut machine to cut my decals. I paint my guns regularly cause I can’t afford new ones lol.
I just purchased the Romeo Zero from Turner's in May 2024 and the metal shroud was included in the clamshell packaging. Maybe it's a mistake, but I opted to not install it because I prefer the sleek, low profile look of the naked optic and the shroud adds some bulk.
Shroud definitely adds bulk. When I swapped it to the S&W 5.7, I kept it off when I swapped it to that to keep it slim.

I’m not sure what the mounting system of that firearm is, but it mounts directly via 1913 pic rail. So it would fit on a 1913 end plate.
Looks like you have fnx mags . Those mags dimensions allow for longer ammo. The fnx has slightly lower bore axis and bigger change is a supported chamber

To each his own I guess but for me the only mags I trust my life to are.... *Lancer AWM L5 - SUPERB mags! Probably my favorite. *Magpul P-mags gen 2 and gen 3- as good as it gets. *ETS- I've heard some complain but mine have run flawlessly. *HK steel G.I. - heavy but 100% dependable no matter what. *Okay surefeed aluminum G.I. mags with Magpul yellow anti-tilt followers and high quality springs.- standard perfection *Duramag aluminum G.I.- excellent *Brownells aluminum G.I.- rock solid. *ProMag RM-30 (Roller Mag) - yeah I'm surprised too but these are excellent. They are the ONLY ProMag I'd ever recommend though. Mags I own but for training and target shooting ONLY- *Troy battlemag - great feeding, lightweight mags but the base plate design is GARBAGE! Stupidest engineering ever! Will NOT trust my life to them! *Magpul D60 - I own several but I've never seen one that doesnt malfunction. All of mine will suddenly and instantly unload themselves for no apparent reason. I've never tried Hexmag, MFT or any others but the above I can attest to 100%. Also....mag couplers. *Safariland - SUPERB! I use mine with aluminum G.I. mags but I'm sure theyd work with others as well, the Lancer AWM in particular would be a good match. Cant beat them at about $6 each! *Magpul couplers for gen 3 P-mags- excellent.

The sig sauer P-365 Romeo Zero I purchased ( doesn't have a 7 or anypoint light adjustment button )mater fact the battery went dead after just a few months. It's also so bright it washes out the back drop to the point you can't see the backdrop. Had to replace it with Vortex Defender
I don’t have experience with the Vortex, but I hope it works well for you! Seems these Romeo Zeros are very hit or miss. Recently took mine out of the safe (sitting on a S&W 5.7 and it was completely dead. Seems like the degrading battery life is beginning to be a trend.

Did this and it stripped off 3 layers of paint but it takes a while, a lot of effort, and many sprays. Now my gun is nice and clean
