    Thanks for this video! As a 30 mother going to nursing school I’m definitely nervous about forgetting something. I’ve been a nurse aide for ten years and love taking care of people but nursing makes me nervous lol. I’m glad to hear that’s somewhat okay!

    Thank you so much for these important tips. As a brand new nurse (6mo) in, these are very helpful to me. I work night shift and some nights are really crazy and tough. How did you survive your first weeks/months of being on your own? were you good at prioritization? how did you overcome this? I feel like during the first hour of my shift, I am all over the place, my head is spinning until after I finish passing meds. please help a sister with a routine on how you survived those few months. Thanks.

      Just to let you know you are not the only one, I was a new grad last year and I cried 3 times that I can t print the computer blood tube sticker 😅now I think back I feel hilarious 😆 wish you the best !

      @@itsclashythe-rn8785 it’s normal to feel frustrated sometimes when dealing with human patients , but overall there are many advantages working as a nurse and although there are frustrating days I m blessed to have a job :-)

    i came to check up on your channel bc i started watching you at the beginning of freshman year of highschool when i decided i wanted to be a nurse, i’m now a junior in highschool who got accepted into a program at my school called “middle college” where we can get free college classes at our local community college while taking highschool classes:) i start my CNA class this summer & start pre reqs the following semester! you’ve truly inspired me:)

    Insulin is also a major common mistake! Please use unit syringe and not mls syringe 🙈🙈 just had a colleague give 40 units instead of 4 units 😤😖

      Isn't insulin supposed to be checked by 2 nurses? Crazy how both missed it

    The other day I was going to give an antibiotic injection(10ml) and started to flush the iv with Nacl, and when I grabbed the other syringe with the AB, it was actually the Nacl, and I had flushed the iv with the AB… oops 🙊
