I watched this video yesterday, made a couple changes to my IG profile and my captions, and I’ve gotten about 15 more followers so far. I think you’re onto something! One thing I’m having trouble with is getting people to subscribe - I’ve had a few reels get thousands of views and likes, but those views and likes aren’t turning into followers. Any advice?

Thank you for this! I'm unsure if I should stop sharing my newest posts on my stories because they're the stories with the lowest engagement and my views usually plummet after posting it. I know it's a good thing for followers to see the posts but it's not helping my stories at all, it seems like it's whenever I repost something on my story the views stop.
So how you explained how hashtags make you easier to find made something click for me lol. I went through and decluttered and refocused hashtags from new and old posts and boom started seeing likes on old material. Thanks!

I have an unrelated IG question. I have searched everywhere and can’t find the answer. How are some IG accounts having larger thumbnails on their IG feeds for reels? Some accounts have all larger images (2x as tall) and some have only their reels 2x as tall. Help?!? Also a tutorial for making attention getting thumbnails for IG reels would be helpful. Thanks!
Does it matter if the people I’m going to engage with or follow are not in my niche? I heard that for instance for my jewelry and scarves business, if I follow my customers and engage with them, the IG algorithm will not push me to followers from other people that have my niche

This does not send signals to Instagram. It’s just like using the same hashtag twice.
Just use 1-2 keywords naturally in the caption and use hashtags for categorizing and tagging 😊

Has anyone figured out why Hashtag access is so random ? A huge chunk of people on my feed have posts that sometimes are then sometimes aren't showing up in Hashtags. It seems so arbitrary. Post on Monday it's fine. Post on Wed no hashtags. Post Friday and it's back.
