Yep lasts for years. And super easy to find replacement parts if the plastic threads wear down. Since I share the sink near our clothes washer, I’m not able to leave the attachment in place.
I usually soak mine with a bit of bleach mixed into a bucket of water every couple of years to keep it looking sparkling clean. Rinse thoroughly and good to go.
