    You can definitely tell you were a gear head at one time. A lot of nice tools. I remember the days of Radio Shack. Sure do miss those days. Keep up the good videos. I have learned a lot.

    Radio Shack…great memories going in there with my Dad!
    Sears for Craftsman tools again with my Dad. He got a VA check for disability (WW2) and he would buy tools with it. He would take the time to teach me about tools. Right tool for the job! And clean your tools! He’s gone now but I still hear him now, Lol!

    Radio Shack. Lol. Their slogan use to be "you got questions, we got answers" when the reality was" you got questions, we don't have a clue" nice home setup man

    I have the same box. Got it back in 2004. Still have it. Still in service at a union forklift shop, still stainless. I can’t put one magnet on there. I really wish I could though.

    Got a similar metal tray for sockets, well over 20 years old, love it. Great for all drive sized impact sockets. Homak makes a good home shop toolbox. It's all about the tools that are in a box, to me? Can't go wrong with the Sunex impact sockets, got the 1/2" and 3/4" drive sets along with Mac and SK smaller sets. Nice setup, Dan.

    .
    The dessicants can be "recharged" by putting them in a warm-ish (about 150F) oven for an hour or so. It dries them out and they can go back to doing their job.

  • @mikenormandy9250
    @mikenormandy9250 Před rokem +1

    Can attest to the desiccant! Always keep the small package that ships with a new tool bag or pouch, etc. keep them in every bag, every zipper pouch that has metal. Never thought to buy in bulk like that! It really does mess around and literally does exactly what it’s intended for! Great video!

    Nice Think we all have a Junk drawer. Real men like showing they work dirty hands lmao . And the Harley Spanner axel nut is for the 1 inch shaft only . Snap on is great for a Auto Tech I was maintenance I started buying Snap off $300 1/4 to 3/4 3/8 and 1 ratchet 3/8, 12 inch handle . Craftsmen 2500 piece set $500 1986 I think I broke 2 ratchets one in 1/2 and 3/8 was good enough for the stuff I did . Pumps turbine and impeller fluid transfer nothing high presser 4 inch pipe and flange . 1/4 to 1-1/2 and 24 inch pipe wrenches I had cheater pipes up to six foot long 1-1/2 and 2 inch . I still fix anything and I still have my Craftsmen tools from 1986 . I still buy what I need never have everything you need always something.
