First! So I was curious on your opinion with an EQ software. I recently downloaded Steelseries Sonar and it has a Warzone preset EQ that has a peak at 100hz and 200hz. I use SHP9500s and was wondering if you might be able to do a review on that software. I felt EQ APO was difficult to navigate and create peaks (I’m not experienced with EQ’ing), and didn’t know what you would think of the Warzone preset in Sonar. Thanks for the amazing vids as always!

Hello brother, you should take a look at the SteelSeries Sonar software. I have the HyperX Cloud 2 and that software helped me a lot, I think I can get much more from the software but I don't know how to get the best config, at least now I can hear the footsteps better.
I will. It's honestly a function of time and money. I need to reach out to them and see if they are interested in sampling me something. They ignored my prior request.

the stage is larger on the tygr. imaging is about the same. with imaging the same, you will track enemies equally well with both.

I haven't done much analysis of the 2042 audio since it lost so much popularity.

this game has shitty audio, that's the root of your problem, not the headset or the settings.

I tried these setting and I’m still having a hard time hearing footsteps. I know I’m putting in the right settings
WZ sometimes has absolutely zero footstep audio. Trust me, it's not the headset. If you try Apex you'll find you have no issue with footstep audio, this is because the game works properly and footstep audio is a reasonable volume.

dolby for sure. boost high in game works for me but i switch between high and low. and if you can, use the acc and change one of your eq profile to astro++

why would it be? Don't use dolby, you don't need it.
Love the settings and I’m using your preset. However, anyone else hearing the gunshots and explosions extremely loud as well? They overpower footsteps at times. I’m using the A50’s also

other than the audio quality and comfort. these things are a nightmare in terms of user interface. the whole firmware update and the astro command center not working through microsoft store is a nightmare.
I Do not recommend your settings for warzone, I used some GOD tier settings from a guy EXIQUE on CZcams and I thought to try yours too, your settings are good but not best a guy was above me moving around and reloading and I couldn’t hear him,
so if anyone here tried your settings and still couldn’t hear footsteps they should try EXIQUE settings with Boost on warzone
If you’re on PC you should not be buying or using any gaming headset. Especially the overpriced a50 garbage 🤣. There’s way better options for less. They’re called gaming headsets to make suckers think that they’re the best option for gaming. It’s marketing. Throw gaming in front of something and gamers will buy it not knowing any better 🤦♂️

@@atombarn a good budget option is the sennheiser hd 560s. You can usually find those on sale for $150. Also another good option at around the same price as The Astro a50s Is the beyerdynamic dt 900 pro x.
