Fu Xuan might be worth saving for to clear MoC 10 a bit easier. She also passively gives party crit buff which can help balancing crit stats.

If people asked me I would say, go for the next character, even if you can clear the game with what you have "variety is the spice of life", meaning that having more characters to play with and mess around is better than just having the same 3 or 4 than can clear everything.

i lucked out like crazy and got him at E2 and yes, he is insane. I made the mistake of not saving for the Destruction LC from SU, I'm using a real basic 3* LC for him atm and he is still pulling good numbers.
U got time to be saving for his lightcone. I mean if u can just focus on the su LC then you'd be totally fine.

That's what I'm gonna do. Ima pull for IL. Wont be spending up to E6 and Superimpose V LC (but I've seen on CZcams how extreme the damage was). Would probably stick with E1 and 1 LC at the most

The characters are so easy to level up and elemental/role coverage makes having a wider variety of characters worth it. Hyper investment doesn't seen as good a ROI in comparison.
For Mtashed? More characters is more content and more fun.
more characters is obviously very good in this type of game, however there are characters that can hypercarry without the weakness or anything just because they are so overtuned and IB might be one of em.
I was waiting for Fu Xuan but I changed my mind and got him, he is very fun to play and strong, now I'm pulling for his weapon but probably I won't get it because I'm f2p
Im a day 1 genshin player and never played star rail, and after seeing his animations I was like I NEED HIM NOW. Started last week and I'm currently lvl 37, won the 50/50 and he is amazing to play. My 5* atm are him, Welt and Bronya. Its weird how this game as way more quality of life mechanics compared to genshin and a way better end game for what I saw
Congrats on pulling him. I lost to Gepard who I understand is good, but I would have at least prefered Bronya. You should fasho go for Fu Xuan and come back for C2 Dan Heng and his light cone if you would be down to pull for it during his rerun

new event today will give out 4.5k gems. but why not consider his BiS LC? not only does it give more dmg, and ER that stacks, it will also allow you to go all in for crit dmg especially a crit dmg body piece.
I kinda feel you. I lost my 50/50 on Blade, i have pretty nice Clara and Welt and was waiting all this time for Fu Shuang , but not to pull for "best DPS" was very hard...so i also got him 😅
I have an E5 DHIL (I am grinding his E6 before the banner ends) and I can confirm that "On The Fall of an Aeon" is absolutely insane on him.

I recently started playing HSR seriously for about 2 months now, he was my first special warp character, lost the 50/50 to welt after a solid pity above 80, only to get him within next 10 pulls, after that Gacha RNG hasn't favoured me again, lost acheron to clara at solid pity of 70s, got JingLiu & Robin again at 70+ pity only.
I swapped the 2 piece set with his best in slot and the result was insane

If it wasn’t for me already investing in the mono quantum team I would have used my garanteed pity for blade or dan heng, I honestly just love their play styles so much but it’s ok I just need to wait for a little bit longer and my mono team will finally be complete. I'd go for Fu Xuan, he is broken as is. Get a unit that has more versatility in different teams and try out your mono Quantum team

Seele + Imbibitor Lunae is probably the best combo of hyper-carries you could have.
In Honkai Impact 3rd, Quantum and Imaginary are opposing elements to each other, and it appears to be the same in HSR.
That means one side of MoC is always going to have some Quantum weakness mobs, and the other side is always going to have some Imaginary weakness mobs.
How does he work in auto-battle? I know it should be bad - but was it really tested and confirmed? I don't have time to make manual fights :(
Reallly bad like nightmare lvl of bad . His skill and auto doesn't work well , but for manual he is really god tier and does insane amount of dmg

You definitely save for Fu Xuan. I'm a spender, I get every character and their LC pretty much. But imo, I always prefer getting more characters, over more eidolons. Fu Xuan is gonna be nutty and supports will always give more value than DPS, because DPS are a dime a dozen. There will always be someone who hits harder as time goes on. I mean shit, Jing Liu is almost here and from what I've seen, she has a great kit that's kind of like Seele, except less SP hungry. But will there be another weakness applier like SW? Will there be another Bronya? That is what's unlikely.
So since you're an F2P, I HIGHLY recommend just trying your luck for Fu Xuan.

IL’s e2 is one of a kind; it was supposed to be e6 but they changed it. It doesn’t just increase flat damage, it gives a new mechanics. So I say if you have enough for Fu Xuan’s e0 and more, then go for IL’s e2, because it will massively increase your experience in game (mechanic wise.)

Got him in 11 pulls. Mine with 40% less Crit DMG Then my Blade Out DPS's him. I guess he has 40% crit dmg from his stacks and 25% aganist Imaingary weak enemies and a extra 20% against Imaginary broken enemies so it kind of makes sense already. He doesn't even have maxxed out Aeon LC level nor superimposition. I think he's at least 50% if not more better then Blade in Blast situations. and he looks like he's the single Target Champ as well Fenrir Creeping Seele and Kafka, and yes as a TOF player as well You could say He Powercreeped Seele similar to how Fenrir Powercreeped older DPS units in TOF.
You said it yourself when talking about Seele. You've got her at E2 with her light cone and ILDH came along and kinda bopped her, at E0 with mediocre artifacts. You wish you had Blade, and if not for all the wishes on extra Seele copies you maybe could have gotten him.
Eidolons are completely unnecessary, and I think you in particular will always have more fun with more characters instead of more Eidolons. I think you should just save for Fu Xuan (which as the added benefit of having Lynx on the banner who is a great healer option and I know you need another healer with a cleanse).
