The sound quality is surprisingly really good. It has a very good base, and has decent noise cancellation. you have equaliser option as well so you can customise.

I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to Xbox controllers; are there other examples that have this knurling pattern on the top ends of the bumpers? I see that at least some of the newer Series controllers have texturing on the bottoms of the bumpers (near the triggers) but not the tops. I actually bought two of these limited edition ones almost entirely for that reason, felt the top-side texturing would better fit my playstyle than the old Xbox One controller I've been using on my PC. Hated those glossy bumpers. I'm super happy with these ones, the bumper knurling feels fantastic and I like the rubberized handle scales too. Plus it just looks phenomenal, and those transparent triggers take me back 20-30 years in time.
I live in Mexico so its gonna take a few days to get here. I got a leak that the controller will be in stores next Tuesday, I'm literally checking online every hour to see if it arrives sooner and buy it asap, wish me luck hahaha

I was also able to get the CE of Starfield and even went further and got thr Explorers Pack with the Vasco statue. I didn't think Starfield would make me spend so much money lol
The headset is beautiful, and the Xbox wireless headset performs great, but the ear cups started peeling in just over a year. This one hopefully won't do that...but likely will.

You know what? Wish I showed that in the video. There IS a cable yes. USBC to USB. It's a bit short, it's about 2 feet long, and it's light grey which matches nicely with the aesthetic. EDIT: the cable is for charging. This is a wireless headset.
It doesn't go wireless. This will always be paid to xbox through their software. You will always need battery power. Meaning that you can plug it to your Xbox but you can't plug it to the controller in any way

So everyone is excited for controllers and a headset that has a rainbow on them. Interesting. They could have used any design, but they choose the LGBTQ+ rainbow and skipped a color probably on purpose. Lines, words and a Rainbow.

hahaha, buddy I'd be more worried about the game than what color scheme they chose. Thank God this game is coming out on PC. Someone told me it'll be locked to 30fps on the XSX which isn't a good sign if it's true.
It's just reminiscent of the supercolor Polaroid package from ages back. The developers even said they like to have retro tech vibes, so it's likely inspired by that exact design or a similar one.
Even better, when I finally used it, I found out it has custom sound effects in-ear for muting/un-muting the mic, and turning the whole headset on and off. I assume it matches the in-game sound effects.
For those wondering, the grips are rubber, not plastic.

does it weigh more than normal SX controllers? It looks more premium than the normal one.
It feels more premium with the rubber grips, but they seem to weigh the same.
The shiny dpad ruins it for me. I prefer both of my custom controllers to this one.
