Bobby Boushaay It's not about dunking, it's about athleticism. Athleticism isn't just dunking, but your lateral quickness, agility, Strength, first step, how you handle the ball etc. Athleticism is a pre requisite to playing at the highest level...coaches want bigger, stronger and faster athletes. Defense in Basketball is much more important than offense, and to be a great defensive team you gotta have elite Athleticism.

In my experience most rims at parks and gyms (including Basketball Hall of Fame, at least back when I was in high school) are about 9 feet 9 inches or so. I've never played on a regulation 10 ft hoop except an adjustable portable one on the street and I was wondering why I couldn't grab it easily like all the other hoops I was used to (yup I grabbed the rim at the Hall of Fame no problem even with Jumper's Knee).
I took a small healthy dose of steroids and I went front touching the rim to 2 handed dunking on the same day. That was like 8 years ago but I'm still like WTF!!!
too much jump is not good for the knee , he probably won't be able to do this at age 35 and 40 ! basketball is about jump shot , defense and dribble that's it

Guy Dupuy is the best dunker in TFB idc what anyone says. He has insane bounce of one and two feet that's rare as fuck plus his body control in the air is unmatched
I don't know if anyone under 6'5 or 6'4 has ever dunked from behind the free throw line. It's almost impossible because you need to be long AND have a 46-50 inch vertical.
