Thanks For Watching!
In later updates diamonds were pushed down so you should do this at y -58 the deeper you go the more diamonds you'll find
Thanks for providing the updated info for everyone!
you can still find diamonds at y11 but the chances are extremely low
I have been doing this for years now, crazy how some people don’t mind like this.
Recommendation for everyone: space your "branch tunnels" two blocks apart. So you don't miss anything in between. You can also stack your 'mainline' tunnels so you can mine on almost any level. I also recommend making a cavern every 100 blocks or so filled with blast furnaces, crafting benches, chests, extra wood and food. Maybe even bring a bed. And if it's going to be a really big mine, sign posts or even wooden button to help find your way back!
No one is dpeaking about that emerald next to the lava
I thought that was a diamond
Nevermind it is emerald

Nice video straight to the point. I found the diamonds.
personally, i like to use the 1x1 tunnel method, where you use water and swim to fit in the hole, or use a trapdoor. i also like to combine it with a similar method to branch mining, where you mine 5 blocks to each side to see anything that could be near you, and you do this every 3 blocks you mine forward, that way you see as much as possible with it.
Combining the 1x1 method with the poke mining method would probably be the fastest way to find some diamonds!
@@Solespawn oh definitely, except when you're me and have terrible luck
Nice and easy guide to follow good work. 😁
Thanks!
ok
ey people use alt f4 there with you can look through the wall it's called x-ray try it
We got a funny person here!
I put "strip mining" in the title because a lot of people use that term when referencing branch mining. Remember that if you'd like to see a more in depth video then give this video a like! Also subscribe so you don't miss that more in depth video!
Edit: I see a lot of people commenting about the fact that I'm in creative mode. This video is just explaining the idea of branch mining and being in creative mode made doing that easier. For the many other questions and comments, I'll be trying my best to answer those in the more in depth video I'll be making!
I think thats because everyone calls in strip mining and youre the one whos given it a different name. But that may just be my take on it.
That is a fair point. The general community does call it strip mining from what I've seen. However when considering real life mining terminology as well as what is actually done when foing what I've shown in the video, branch mining would be the proper term.
I needed this
I thought everybody knew this
I've noticed a lot of people are commenting on the fact that I have a pickaxe in hand while breaking dirt blocks.
I was in creative mode when recording this video haha.
Anyways, if you want to see more Minecraft videos then let me know in the comments!
Hi
I’ve never heard it be called “Branch Mine”
Strip mining is the popular term for it but branch mining is the proper term. I'll try my best to explain the difference in a future video!
I think it's more fun to find a cave and explore it
Caving is definitely a more interesting way to get your resources! Not as efficient though.
I do both. I strip mine until I find a cave. I loot the entire cave, than close off that strip mine, mark it as cave at the beginning and go to the next.
Okay but like could you make me a grilled cheese?
Working on it!
Dig down to y8 it has the most distribution of diamonds
You are correct. However the reason for doing it at y11 is to avoid lava. Lava starts spawning at y10 and down.
I saw a dimind in the lave if you look down lol
Can never get any diamonds with this method, but I get so much iron I can pretty much keep going indefinitely until I do find them
Am I the only one who mines in a straight line without putting any torches
That's a valid way! Dangerous but valid!
Not dangerous if you are crawling while mining a 1x1 tunnel, for no mob will spawn in such a small space. The only problem would be the ability to see potential green, red, and blue gems hidden in the earth.
DON'T dig dirt with a netherite pickaxe leave that for diamond mining and always bring a WATER BUCKET
I saw diamonds in the lava...
Pretty sure its emeralds
There were emeralds in that lava filled ravine but diamonds are possible as well!
I saw them too
Bro just staircase down then literally mine the entire world i have like a 50x50x50 hole
name of the song in the background i wanna use it while mining to calm my brain down 😅😅
Why do you do this on y11? I’m new to Minecraft so I’m trying to learn all I can
Or one block high mining, its more efficient
It can be! I'll be expanding on the topic of branch mining in a future video!
He missed a dimond in the lava
i got so triggered when he dug the dirt with a pickaxe
I just mine it all out at Y11.
I did the way tinfoilchef did it. I don't know why but it wasn't bad. And now it's been a year or so since I've played and I'm not going back.
Anyone else see the emeralds hidden in the lava?
I only do this to get stone . _ .
Me who uses fullbright mod:
That a darth Vader skin?
This technique is called strip mining
There is diamond at lava in the video
Who else saw the diamonds by the lava
Anyone also see the diamonds in the lava?
Who else saw the diamonds in the lava
Turn up fov
This is called strip mining, not branch mining. But ill forgive you this one time
Nvm, I dont read the rest of the title on CZcams tiktok edition
How do you know where the find gold and stuff?
He just said it
@@wear3163 he meant gold not diamond
You can mine gold on nether but it has only ingots but it still works out and also you can mine iron and coal on caves but i don't know about the rest tho (redstone/emerald/lapis)
If you're mining at y16 or lower then you can find every ore that exists in the overworld (emeralds as well if your in an extreme hills biome)! I'll go into more detail in an expanded video!
i go four block forward, and three blocks high, then 16 blocks either side and repeat.
Is it just me or is that a hollow mask on his face?
My skin at the time was inspired by the Bleach anime!
Everybody knows how to strip mine
0:41 is that... a diamond?
It just strip mining
this guy sounds alike to Ben Shapiro
laughs in 1.18
Guess I better do an update video haha
Dudes in creative using a pickaxe
Visuals my dude!
Si mandan regalos para escoger es de lo que dice tu casa tu mascota tu novio tu caro tus zapatos les doy like
The fact that he mined dirt with a netherite pickaxe...
