I've ridden my bicycle across north america 3 times. Up and down both coasts. 31 states so far. I NEVER get sick of small town bars.

@daniel littlehorn I recommend you try it. Seems daunting. Just remember. "Ride to the next town. Have a beer and a burger. Then ride to the next town." Seems like a big task but its not. Easy as riding a bike.

there has been times that the river was up so high that you had to park on the road and take a John boat ride up to the door to get in to have a cold snack.

Hika bay Tavern in Cleveland WI is one of oldest bars in Wisconsin. It is by lake Michigan, but sadly it had a fire recently and there is a movement to rebuild it
