You explain it great and made it look easy enough for me to do it.I like the tool you made with the 1 inch axle.

Glad it helped! And that axel breaker bar is the bomb. Definitely worth makin one if you have an old axle.

I would like to see a Tyranis Tip going over the lighting and battery charging in a little more detail. coils, rectifiers, regulators, wiring diagrams. Something along those lines.

Absolutely! That video is on the way soon. However, it looks like I'll be abandoning the stock charging system for a higher output alternator. Either way, I'll make the video for ya! Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the info. Should’ve researched before starting my 301cc with a 40 series. Threw me off instantly. Think my idle rpm is somewhere around 2k

Thanks for the video. Do you have any idea on how to get the primary clutch to be engaged from 0 rpm? Would installing strong springs behind the rollers do the trick?

Will this kit from go power sports also work on a eBay style torque converter?

Hi, I've got the 40 series torque converter on a 420cc yerfdog. I've upgraded my rollers to medium weight, the rollers jumped the guides like you explained. I also noticed that running back down to idle the torque converter would not actually disengage, does not close completely. then I would hear a click, the weights eventually hitting the stop then I'd see the torque converter actually fully closed. I'm assuming if I upgrade the stock large spring that will solved that problem. other than smoothing both edges of the roller guides is there anything else I could do to eliminate the roller jumping?

Hey Justin! So some people (myself included originally) are hesitant to continue upgrading their 40 Series Torque Converter because they are worried about the performance impact of a new higher "stall" or engagement RPM. If you are experiencing roller jumping my advice is to step up to the heavy springs and lighter than stock rollers. Also the large upgraded compression spring for the driver is also a huge help as well as maintaining proper lubrication of the rollers and channels. After making these upgrades I've been having a great experience with our 40s in even the worst conditions and don't miss the lower stall at all as the kart does not lurch or take off too fast like I was initially concerned about.
