Well, they said that the pawns are supposed to make you feel like you are playing with other players and all the dumb shit they do is exactly what I'd expect from people online.
Why dont they just give us a co-op mode?
@@samhennessy7108 That's what the Japan-only MMO was, though it's long since been shut down. When playing alone you'd have your Pawns for support, but when players joined you, they would replace one of your Pawns.
But who knows, if DD2 does well enough it may inspire them to try and give DDO another shot but with a world-wide audience instead.

It just needs lots of detail and love
They could easily make lobbies full of players messing around in towns, or out in the world fighting stuff, where you can meet randomly, or where you can choose public lobby, private or invite only.
They could have raid-like caves and dungeons for player groups, etc
even the PvP would be interesting, and even with all that, they can still call it dragon's dogma...

Got me plum riled up, so I reckon I let loose an arrow from ma bow. Didn't do too much harm, just gave 'im a couple o' busted bones. 'Course, then some durn fool guard decided to toss me straight into the dungeon.
Had a griffin take off with me on its back ..... killed it midair then crash landed and used a wake stone lmao 🤣

@@Sargatas lmao got another for ya had a escort quest (those are awful in this game) the guy died via slime I had no wake stones on hand so had to carry him the whole way it got dark and a dragon was chasing me had to destroy a bridge as it crossed the kill brine for the win
@@reggiemoore755 I have a story with escort quest too. I did one of those, then walked 300 meters and the very same NPC asked me to escort him to the very same place for the very same reward)

Playing DD1 where my party of pawns were all kleptomaniacs. When I saw a unique chest nearby, I had to fend off their grubby little hands, by grabbing and chucking them one by one over the side.

The pawn bringing you other downed pawns to res isn't anything out of the ordinary. It has to do with their inclination.

Tip: You can let go of monsters while on top of them and you'll maintain a foothold and can walk around on them as long as they arent trying to shake you off

Lol, I had to do the same to my main pawn. He was acting suspiciously. In the middle of a fight one of my hired pawns shouted at him saying "What the hell are you doing! We're in the middle of a battle!" I'm not sure what he did though 🤣
Afterwards I gave an order and he said "Fine, I'll do it. But I'm not happy about it." He also seemed to be glowing purple.
That was too many suspicious things for me to ignore, so I 'cured' him in the nearest source of water.🤣
Unfortunately I was in the middle of nowhere far from any town with night aproaching and I forgot he carried all my camping supplies so I had to continue traveling through the night.
Was very happy when the sun eventually rose🤣
Second clip is a accurate portrayal of me and my friends being asked if we would jump off a cliff by my mom
granted the whole bit with the griffon and the pawn catching them when then fell isnt new as it was in the first game but still a great moment XD

In fact, they catch you if you fall from a high place and they are below you to catch you. several times I was saved by riding monsters and after being thrown away one of my pawns caught me

I too saw the Drake fight against the Cyclops. I waited for one of them to die. Part of me knew that the Drake won that fight due to how op it was. I decided to fire both Ballistas at the Drake. But then it took notice and flew up to burn me alive, resulting in an epic battle.

Fought a mob near a waterfall. After the fighting was done, I turn around and see a Griffon swoop down and grab a buffalo....then proceeds to turn and fly right into the waterfall and melts.
It was only a matter of time until these started popping up

Absolute dogsh!t. The two _different_ DRMs (Denuvo, which is a well-documented performance murderer, and the Russian-made Enigma, the latest performance murderer *which prohibits modding* ), the disgusting 21-launch microtransactions for the most basic of features like _fast travel,_ the inability to delete a save OR start a New Game as character data is stored on Capcom's servers instead on the players' system, and the inability for the game to even use available resources _correctly_ for those with high-end systems, makes this a huge *NOPE.*

Nah you still need to use the in-game currency to use it.. it's like buying a car but you need gas which is very useless cause there's a way to fast travel in-game without buying the mtx xd also most of the items in mtx are useless cause you can find it easily in the first area of the game lmao

When that pawn fighting the dragon said "You'll have to manage on your own, I've got my hands full." That wasn't the pawn AI being snarky. That was one of the early signs of Dragon's Plague. That pawn has mass genocide in it's future.
