I've never been into 'cults' as I've never, say, really understood the fan cults for O'Riley Hatate and, heaven forbid, even Joe Hart. Not that all three of these players don't have talents of course they do, but fan cult members grossly exaggerate them, imv.
Having said all that I do understand the exaggerated enthusiasm for Daizen Maeda because he offers something that no other player provides .. boundless energy for a full ninety minutes and beyond if necessary. In short, he is DIFFERENT, almost from a previously unknown planet, so on that measure alone he probably deserves cult status! 👍😎
