The Regal GS is such a spectacular sleeper and nobody knows about it. GM and Buick Never Marketed it and it was a shame . 150 MPH Limited from the factory . Loved to see this car go it will be spectacular

In Germany the car is called Opel Insignia, the OPC variant is a 3.2 l twin turbo V6 that produces 325 hp and brings it to the road via an all-wheel drive system. The transmission is either an automatic or a six-speed manual transmission

I have the 2014 version of this and when I found out that the Opel is a V6 I was pissed that GM put a 4 banger in here. Such a dope car, but the power isn’t what it should be. GM missed a great opportunity to compete with the sports sedans.
I own a 2015 Regal Premium 2.0L turbo and love it. I wish we had a FB group to collaborate amongst late model turbo'd Regal owners.

Gs mode is competitive mode (track oriented)gives better throttle response, raises redline, changes shift points in the 6spd and stiffens shocks by 40%..sport+ stiffens shocks by 20% and im pretty sure the opal gets a 3.2tt 0r 3.6tt

I've got a 2017 Regal GS and it's such a fun car, really. Definitely slept on, and I really like the uniquiness factor. I only see a handful of the GS trims every year.

I had a 2001 Honda prelude that I had to get rid of, the next brand new car I bought was a 2013 regal GS 6sp manual just like this. Still have it 57k miles love it

Don't underestimate the 2.0 LTG turbo cars. My stock Malibu Premier is impressive for what it is. And my last muscle car was a 2004 GTO.
That engine is not an LTG, the way I can tell ltg's have their turbo on the front towards the radiator, the one in that car is in lhu

You need to get a look at a MK7 GTI. My stock IS20 makes 29 psi @ peak. Makes around 370ish to the wheels.

Im getting tired of all these guys claming 400hp from their turbo 4cyl and never posting the dyno sheets. Kid may know the names of his parts but he never shows his numbers.
Well, i'm certain at some point he will be back on the channel and we will go over the car again.

i know some of the fastest accord 2.0 are up in the 400-500 hp range and somehow manage to hook and pull a sub 13 second 1/4 mile
buicks have always been underrated sleepers. till people see their erformance lets no forget the gs stage 1 and of course the black 87 regals aka grand nationals. i have an 1982 coupe turbo and just bought on of these in black super thrilled to turn it up a bit like my 82. but the 82 has a 4.5 liter turbo and isnt stock 760 to the wheels.

It’s actually a German car. The first year for the regal 2011 we’re actually built in Germany. They are a rebadged opel insignia, Vauxhall insignia and Holden insignia

I’ve have a 2014 GS lowered and tuned but can’t find an exhaust. It’s too bad the after market performance parts are slim to none on this. Buick missed an opportunity to have the V6 turbo that its brother the Opel has.

Buick made an 08 Buick Lacrosse Super with the 5.3 ls4 engine, making 300hp from the factory with a top speed of 150+. There is about less than 3000 ever made.

It's so funny how the new generation catches on in reacts the same way the same how's the old school tuner guys did with the manual boost controller is nothing new and exactly how its setup and that regal the same way we set up the facts 3 turbocharged cars like the 4g63 powered cars lol especially with the age group you guys are in history mosdef repeats itself j/s and props to the build and to the parents who gave their support to the build...

You poor, poor Americans with your limited versions, I have the UK Version which is the Vauxhall Insignia 4x4 VXR 2.8T V6 (Bascially same car) but its 4wd puts out 325 from factory and tops at 170mph, It also comes with Recaro bucket seats, Hiper-Strut suspension. Brembo Brakes and a Remus exhaust system, I am really lucky though because it was used for touring car racing over here which means motorsport spec parts are easy to find, its currently in having the drivetrain upgraded with a race box and clutch on the rear diff to handle the 630nm of torque its currently putting out :)

@@jesseperrella Its literally the same car, you can buy a 2.8T V6 VXR engine and 4x4 drivetrain for £3500, get is shipped over and bolt it on, you will smash all your mates in their heavy US cars, especially round corners...!

no sir. different motors, the GS’s 2.0l ecotec lhu is built for mods
He’s grossly off on either hp or turbo size. There’s cobalts running the lhu same engine as his making 5-600 on smaller turbos at the same psi

i need to get her on the dyno again. last tuner screwed me over big time. also at the time of this video i didn’t realize till after i had turned it down to 20psi. meant to say it’ll take 25psi+ lol

@@Pilotefabrication i used “jeffs tuning and performance” in ocala, fl. he was a cool guy and did good with the tune but where he went wrong is he damaged the hood, broke the oil breather, broke the wastegate, kept the car for a month instead of the agreed week and had the audacity to charge $750 instead of the agreed $500. not to mention he almost blew up the car by “accidentally” feeding it 40psi 🤦🏽♂️ he did good with the tune but to a point. he couldn’t get it perfect but did pretty good. just needs to be refined which i’ve been working on with my dad
