Hey Guys! I really like your honest review, for a one or two listens of the album. I have been a fan of The Warning since their second album came out in 2018 (And I did love their cover of Enter Sandman back in 2014, and thought, I need to keep an eye out for these sisters). As a longtime fan, I also thought they could have gone a bit less on the post production, effects on guitar and vocals, etc. (I sort of agree with Angry Mike D that there is bit too much of the overdriven fuzz guitar, but it's not typical in their full catalog as a whole) But, that said, these sisters are the best songwriters of their generation, and this album is them exploring more and also the first time adding other songwriters to the mix. I suggest two things to you all: 1) Listen to their older albums (Error, Queen of the Murder Scene, XXI Century Blood) and watch the live performances from their YT channel. Their second Album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album that tells a dark story, and it's a modern rock masterpiece. And they were only 18, 16 and 13 years old when they released it! 2) They are better live than in the studio. Watch their live performances from their YT channel, Especially their concert from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX!!. I am 57yo and a rocker since birth, and they are best band I have heard in decades. I have seen them 5 times live (I even flew to Mexico to see them in Cancun) and have tickets for 2 more times this year. They are amazing live!
Rock On Guys!!
thank you so much for watching the whole video, I think most people don't watch the entire thing and than blast certain things, there are 3 of us on the panel and we all have different views just like everyone else, don't forget art is subjective , there is no right or wrong, my opinion is that they are going to be huge , they already have a big following - Bert
Krash I love you but I will let you know now and on SAT you're frigging crazy and ANY ARMY member that shoots down this record should just rip up their card! I know you love these girls and support them in every way but the production on the album is second to none. The dynamics of each song is fantastic. I'm not even going to address these reactor s, I just saw your comment.
@@krash66 mmm, got you beat on age, you kicked my ass on passion though
I love the album. Will be seeing them playing live in Brooklyn twice, in September.
Beyond the muddy mix (mostly a jumble of static-noise -) the songs and the performance are outstanding as usual.....
I think the album is brilliant, even if I wish they had their usual stylistic variety. (For instance, there are no ballads, though the ability to write great ballads is one of their strengths.) Most of my favorite songs, like Sharks and Consume, on the album were among your lowest ranked. As for the guitar tone, I love it. I’m a fan of bands like Earth, Sunn O))) and My Bloody Valentine, so that super-low sound is right up my alley.
this band is talented, even the songs that did not rank high are still real good.
Buen análisis, gracias por el video fe las diosas del rock, podría reaccionar al álbum error???
I dig the new album from these great musicians.
just a heads up to angry mike, go watch the Teatro Metropolitan concert in Mexico City, it showcases everything they did prior to this release. You WILL NOT be disappointed
Just curious. My first time here. Had you guys heard any of this album before you reviewed it, and how many times did you listen to it?
Have you heard any of their previous stuff?
Are you musicians or been involved in the studio before?
Thanks
This Is Bert, I listened To A Few Singles Before The record Came Out, And I thought Damn This Is Pretty good maybe we can review this since it just came out. I started to take a listen to the previous records, I'm starting with the concept record which I like so far, I gave Keep us fed about 5 listens before I reviewed it, the other guys only got a chance to maybe take 2 listens , so it was pretty much out of the box, so it's their initial reaction, I had a chance for it to sink in more, which is usually what ya need to really grasp it, Also Damian And I are musicians and are in a band called Montecarlo which you can find on our main page, here is a link to a video below

@@DambertEntertainment Thanks for replying, Bert. I've been a working musician for 30 years myself, though I'm now retired. I'm genuinely curious about those who don't quite connect with this album. Some long-term listeners of TW believe their work is overproduced and controlled by tyrannical record companies. These critics might not be aware of TW's history of being pursued by predatory corporations since they went viral with "Enter Sandman." It’s clear that the band is very much in control of their production process. Bendeth and his team (noted producer of Error) mentioned in interviews that the girls are like a pack of lionesses when it comes to maintaining their artistic vision in the studio, and every note played on their albums is genuinely theirs. Performing live is one of their main goals when recording in the studio.
No offense intended, as we all have our opinions, but I've noticed that some of you seem to have a less-than-stellar impression of KMF. You've probably already heard that their live performances are where they truly shine. For the concept album you mentioned, "Queen of the Murder Scene," I suggest checking out their Lunario concert, which was their first live debut of the album. The opener of the album, "Dust to Dust" at the Teatro Metropolitan is particularly noteworthy, as is anything from Teatro. It’s one of the best visual and audio live performances available online, expertly mixed and mastered. Others might have different recommendations for experiencing the QOTMS album since there are various versions of the songs online, but the Lunario concert is a great starting point. Despite being in Mexico City at over 7,300 feet, where their voices occasionally struggle, Dany's lead vocals bring the story's character to life.
I'm glad you introduced them to your viewers. I enjoy understanding different perspectives and where they come from......
I thought overall they are super talented, which I think all 3 of us agreed on, but we all have different taste , the production and tone I liked, but there’s 3 of us and everyone’s favorite song is usually different lol.
I like doing the reviews cause , I like to find new or different artist to listen to
There is so much out there
And my hope is that I always like it. This was a good find for me.
@@DambertEntertainment Yes i heard some good comments. Some like all the songs sounded the same were a little puzzling...:)
Did he say, "They're studio musicians"? Yeah...lost me there.
not what we said
@@DambertEntertainment9:36
@@mt4design2 lol, I think Mike Just Bumbled up his words, that did sound weird, but not what he meant, , I think he meant they are musicians not studio musicians , are bad, it happens from time to time, good catch
@@DambertEntertainment OK. Kudos for explaining.
I'm going to suggest, if the three of you haven't watched it yet, to watch their just released live performance of Automatic Sun on MTV Push.
They've always been a band that is at their best live (with or without backing tracks). Don't believe me? Go back a bit in their history. Actually...watch them play 4 songs from their Queen of the Murder Scene unplugged from back around 2019. Zero backing tracks, no where to hide.
Search for "Sesiones Auténticas - The Warning at Autentico Hotel in Monterrey, Mexico" That should get you there.
Ive been watching reviews and it people rank songs so differently. I found it interesting.
Never heard of royal blood? Where have you been.
I have never heard of Royal Blood either.
@@roywall8169 if you enjoyed keep me fed you should try royal blood's first album.
The Best is there next one :)
I took as long as I did to write a reply comment to my friend to hear the madness coming out of your mouths. Only one you have any concept of the album.
Thanks for keeping it real. So many reactors shamelessly (and embarrassingly) shilling this album. It's good, not great. Appreciate y'all.
It’s great, not good.
I listen to the album I dont know what you’re talking about. Each song has its own sound. It’s a power trio band. You’re going to hear each instrument more. The ones that did listen to the album more than once before rating this was an injustice.
Mike D nails it! - yes every song sounds the same because every song is in drop tuning with thick annoying effects on the vocals for no reason, written in collaboration with "professionals" and over produced to glorify the producer - most of their albums have songs that are quite different one from another. they are best judged by their work prior to this album. However, this album will make money because the result is a "Taylor Swift goes hard rock sound".
When you review an album and you say there are no guitar solos when there are two tells me you didn't listen. Satisfied and Consume have guitar solos. Listen to it again and get back to me. 🙄
I like the record , it's one of my favorites so far this year.
the solo part you mentioned , seem like a little overlay part on both tunes , still cool.
When you review an album and you say there are two guitar solos tells me you don’t got your definitions about music, those are just overlays, harmonies over the track, not what you would actually call a “solo”, Satisfied just sounds like an actual solo was about to start and you just got a simple WAH vocal overdub, Consume can be called a solo, but the critic remains the same, is kinda weak, and for that to be the only real solo in the entire album is disappointing, I think they went too much for vocal harmonies, I still liked the album a lot
@@Aaron-ts4ymWho cares about how many solos there are? Is that how you measure whether an album is good or not? lol
@@kohlmcmullen nope, if it's good it's good, the point was brought up cause we were like hey no solos , just a interesting note , not really important
Respect your opinions, but for me you lost me when you ranked Sharks so low.
Damian Really Liked Sharks, I thought it was ok but it gets better with each listen, when you have 3 people submitting scores sometimes the average is not what expected , I scored this album a 8, like I said this album has replay value for me - Bert
Sharks isn't even in the top 5 for me 🤷♀️
@@aliciawooz8417 What's wrong with you! HEHE! 😜
@@reactionsaccount3955 lol what can I say? I think it might be where it is in the track list. The middle of the album all sounds very similar to me so I'm kinda checked out until Consume and Automatic Sun lol
yes all the songs sound the same - it's ok to say it -great band made so-so album - happens all the time
You guys know nothing about these awesome women. Angry Mike needs to watch them live. His tune will change. Btw, they wrote everything with some co writers. This is the first time they have ever had cowriters. Go down the rabbit hole please.
we gave the album a good rating, anything over a 7 is pretty good. looking forward to seeing them live and checking out the rest of the catalog, I thought it was a positive review
@@DambertEntertainmentdon't mind them. They get offended if you give them anything less than an 11/10
@@DambertEntertainment it was other than Angry Mike dragging down the score, lol. Jk
@@Bulldbill lol, right
No, this is not their best work. Out of their 4 albums, this one ranks 4th place for me. There is not a single song on it that I have listened to twice. It is too fuzzed out and thin for me. Their lyrics have been very heavy and serious in the past. This album is as far from that as you can get.
The production on this album is awful. It sounds thin, and far too much like everything else on rock radio. There was nothing to differentiate this album from the rest of the noise out there.
