Carver SD/A-390t vacuum tube CD player from 1992.

Hey everyone. Tonight, I’m auditioning the Carver SD/A-390t vacuum tube CD player from 1992.
Yes, vacuum tubes in the output stage. Weird yet functional, but Carver always did different things than everyone else.
Has direct access buttons and remote (missing). Also has fixed, variable, and coaxial digital outputs.
I picked this up at Salvation Army a few years ago for $9.99 and kept the crayon mark on the chassis for posterity.
I opened it up to rubber restore the belts, clean the laser lens, and check the grease on the gears.
Definitely an oddity in the collection.
