    That's not a beater.
    She's lovely.

Hopefully I can get my hands on a 2006 Red Toyota Corolla identical to what you have here. Red looks sporty, and same black interior. Just a bit more nice. It's from a dealership coming in at $4000 with 183k milage. I 100 percent think this is good. Just has a few paint cover tears on the rear bottom of the car. (Edit) , I watched your 2022 video reviewing it as well. Cool progress.

Is 221 thousand miles on a Toyota Corolla for 2k a good deal

You should consider a 2nd gen prius as your next one. Super reliable, 45mpg, different driving experience to most other cars!

You kinda read my mind but I went for a gen 3 with a failed head gasket 😂

    ABS was an option.
You could add it with OEM parts from dealership

Hi, hope you are doing great! cool video, thanks Zent.
Would you consider E39/E36? Even E34 for the next one?
or a rare Toyota Altezza with that 2.0 beams engine?
On Toyota Topic Matrix XRS/ Pontiac Vibe Gt might be nice too.

Yes I’ve had both an e39 and e36 previously (not posted on CZcams though). The e36 made a fun drivers car. I haven’t looked at them today, but I’d imagine they are pretty expensive now?

@@ZentRose I don't know the prices in USA, but they are getting more and more rare indeed.

Decent shape m50/m52 based e36/e39s are getting hard to find, but every once in a while an auto will pop up, I have the m52 variant in mine creepin up on 170k, they are great engines that don’t ask for much but rev happily and provide great pleasure driving, the e36 is a civic of BMWs

surprised this corolla didn't have ABS. Do you know if all corollas of this generation (2003-2008) did or didn't have ABS?

Some 9th Gen 'rollas in Australia had ABS as an option, Also was standard on the higher trim levels. I'm sure that it was an option in other markets as well.
