  • It is Holiday season again!! Join us to unpack and set up our artificial Christmas Tree from Costco!
    It is probably the best quality artificial tree we found in the market for its price and value. It is so easy to set up!
    We bought this Christmas tree in 2018, this is the 3rd year of using this artificial christmas tree. Still works like a charm!
    The Costco Artificial Pre-lit Christmas Tree comes in 3 sizes: 12 ft, 9 ft, and 7.5' ft.
    It also comes with a remote controller, which we used this year for the first time~

    We bought two of the 12 foot 3 years ago. We love them. The new ones that costco offers now are not as full, not as wide and do not have as many natural tips. On the older ones we have, they are so full of natural tips you can hardly see the center where the more artificial looking ones are. We leave ours on warm white, which by the way is actually a warm color. Most warm whites are kind of greenish in color and give a cool tone to the room, they don't seem warm. These have a coppery warm color and are the closest to incandescent lights I have seen. The colored lights on this tree are extremely vibrant and have way too much green and blue which again leaves the ambient color in the room kind of cold feeling. The colored lights seem warm in the store because the majority of the light from the overhead store lights is a cold florescent which makes these seem much warmer than they are. When you get them home you realize how cool in tone it is. They could have remedied this by adding more red and orange than green and blue. I just feel that it strips the warmth out of the room. The new version of these at costco are lit differently with cluster of micro led bulbs instead of the traditional incandescent shape. They aren't as well dispersed and the white is not as warm as the older version. The only draw back to these is that there is no customer support. I tried to track down some extra replacement bulbs and costco would not help me or give me a contact number for the manufacturer. I have since been working with Balsm Hill trees to assist me in replacing bulbs. I love these trees and would still recommend them if they continued to carry the older version. The new ones are still nice and I would recommend them to people, it's just that there are obvious differences that make me love the older version a lot more. Thank you for the review, I enjoyed watching your excitement!

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the product! Yes! We also inherited a bigger tree from my in-laws. The leaves on the other tree 🌲 look way more real the the one from Costco. The drawback is the the leaves that look more real shed a lot, but the Costco one was ok when dragging around ;)

      @@MsMinglifestyle oh, ours are from costco and we love them. I was saying the new model at costco has fewer realistic tips than the older ones from costco. We bought ours from costco about three years ago. The ones they have now are not quite the same but are still very nice. 😀

    We have the 9 foot tree and have had it a few years. Last year small areas of lights would go off for awhile, and then come back on. The areas are on the bottom and middle sections. We have done basic troubleshooting and can't solve the problem. Any ideas?

      Hmmm I would think maybe the connection wasn’t tight? Or maybe the light bulbs are getting old?

      We are having trouble with our Costco tree's colored lights- only half of them work. But, when I switch to the white lights, they all work. Any idea what has happened?

    what is the diameter of the tree at its widest?

    • @MsMinglifestyle
      @MsMinglifestyle  Před 2 lety +1

      It actually depends on the tree. Costco sells at least 3 different sizes. I think this one is the 45 inch base diameter
