Rome came back to win a ship, he didn’t have to stay….. That’s different than someone going back to try and increase their draft spot or needing to stay.
Rome was a borderline first rounder last year he came back to win, he’s unbelievably dominant and he’s only 3 months older than MHJ
Even though he’s not my guy BTJ is fast, has TD upside and probably gets better draft capital than the next tier so it makes sense to have him in a tier of his own but like you said I don’t think the difference between him and the next tier is that big.
First dynasty off season for me and I'm just glad the BASEMENT is still open post in szn 🔥🔥

Love your discussions. Top 4, agreed. Worthy and Coleman, I will let someone else draft. NFL NG models are dope, they refit each year, so 2023 rating don't align with 2025 for 2014-2023 years.

Damn my top 11 was the exact same 11 players post combine. 1-6 identical. I moved Franklin from WR6 to WR8. Tempted to move him further back and move Coleman up more as well.
As it stands:

8. Franklin
9. McMillian
10. Polk
11. Coleman
There are another 5-6 WRs I really like. Corley is the main one I have no idea what to do with and have him WR21 of 21 ranked.
Did you make any tweaks this year into how your RS grades are calculated? Also, are you putting out videos again on how you calculate it? Love those videos
Just a small tweak with how I was using Lance Z's grades. I mention it right after talking about the combine data in the beginning
Good stuff! Few things I found p interesting tho-
I noticed you mentioned the PFF GAR as a pro for Nabers but never returned to it for a guy like Troy Franklin, while bashing his combine performance. Also I would think it’s a feather in the cap of a guy like Keon Coleman too.
And then you briefly touched on the per route metrics when discussing Ladd, and rightfully so imo. Reason being that his surface level production was certainly dinged by games missed. Now, health is important for fantasy. But when Ladd played, he was p damn good next to Brock. Also think Troy’s YPRR numbers are good, especially as he progressed through school. His year 3 per route numbers are insane and his year two showed a steady improvement too.

I love odunze one of my most drafted underdog players so far. I think he is best in class.
I feel with Franklin and Coleman we can get some value in the late 2nd with the hopes of Rice and Reed and floors of Mingo Mims
I don't think Franklin is gonna fall that far, he'll probably still be an early 2nd round guy at worst IMHO
@@glamourassassins yeah you are probably right last year it was made out to be the WR class wasn’t good outside the top 4 in the 1st so that created value for rice and reed
Would like to see QJ’s and BTJ’s profiles next to each other. I think QJ had around a 45 MTF% and a 18 ADOT. BTJ with a 23 MTF% and a 12 ADOT. I think that shows BTJ is more than just a deep threat. You don’t want an extremely high ADOT. 9-12 give or take is the sweet spot. Also wonder how similar or different their route trees are. BTJ is a better athlete and has the deep speed unlike QJ
Yup and QJ had a much higher % of his targets as contested 50/50 balls meaning he wasnt a good separator.
@@RonStewart_ It seems like this year the community is so divided after the big 3. Any concern that BTJ, Keon, AD never cleared 2 YPRR for their career? Worthy and Franklin above 2 but they have questions of their own.
You’re completely missing on Troy Franklin. You’re better than knocking WRs down cause of 175 pounds which has proven to be enough at the next level. And just because he’s similar in athleticism to robbie doesn’t mean he is robbie.WR4
Not saying you're doing this Ron, but I think Franklin is getting dinged too much because of his Combine performance. His on-field production is REALLY good and he has excellent play speed. I've got him tied with Worthy as my WR5 in the class; just encouraging everyone not to overreact.
No higher than 2.01 in rookie drafts for anyone outside the top 3? Even being generous in say a small 10 team superflex, i highly doubt theres enough positional talent elsewhere on the board to push the WR4 from this class to a 2nd rounder

I’m having some real troubles with Rome. Keep seeing a better version of nkeal harry on film. To me his lack of separation is alarming but it’s tough not to bet on a guy everyone else is praising
Mike Williams isn’t a bust
McMillan is so much better than Polk it’s not comparable.. McMillan is sooo polished as a route runner
Keon is a bad separator and route runner.. yes I understand he “separates” at the catch point but I don’t believe it’s enough to be successful at the next level

Odunze is the WR 1 of this class. He has the most elite hands I have seen in a long time and the balls just seem to just stick to his hands. The over the shoulder catches where he shields off the trailing db are unteachable and elite. And along with winning jump balls he is just an can't miss prospect. His comp is Mike Evans and not Olave. He has the same kind of catching and body control as Mike Evans. Really hoping Giants take him and not Nabers if they have to choose between the 2.
I think Nabers is being over rated and his comp to me is Nelson Agholor where he should go late 1st and not top 10.
