- I drive by this building almost every day and have yet to explore it, until now. It has Manchester's only (That I know of) birdcage elevator and the first I have ridden with sliding manual doors that's not a freight. This thing is modded by CJ Anderson, but it still has the old Otis manual control wheel. The motor is epic and its pretty smooth. The inside is covered in plexiglass to bring it up to code but you still get a nice view. The building is an apartment building, but the entrance is unlocked, so anyone can go in!

This elevator is likely from c. 1908-c. 1909 (when the building was built, at least according to some websites)
I hope you can check out the elevators at the Holyoke Mall at Ingelside in Holyoke, Massachusetts. There are 5 elevators inside the mall and 4 elevators in the parking garage. Please check it out!!!
What's The Address?
Dante Trainmaster It’s around 90 Hanover street. It’s across the street from the Palace theater
@@TheBigA Thanks
I was the first to film this!
Elevator Man60 I know. That's how I found it. I see this building every day but never knew it had such a cool elevator!
I am going to Orlando the beginning of October and will be filming all the hotels. Marriott, Hilton, B, Rosen Centre, Hyatt, etc
Elevator Man60 You should film in downtown also. I've been into over 50 buildings and 40 garages there! Most high rise buildings have relaxed security and no turnstiles!
I will have 4 hours for riding so I will try to check it out.
This unit has been removed :(
It’s in Ames bury ma at the museum now as an exhibit! Enjoying its retirement. NH record says 1920 on this one.
@@ptmusicalboxes The Elevator Museum closed. Hopefully going to reopen at NEIEP in Rhode Island.
Will the cage reappear there
