I tested the new may casts on the wands and they are NOT blades. The are bubbles. Try them out, the bubbles look really cool and are the first bubbles to boost 3 classes, as opposed to one.

I started playing wiz recently and I'm seeing that theres a lot of paid stuff. Loot boxes that make you wanna dump a ton of money in for the very low chance of getting all the things you want on top of already being a paid game to just play normally whether its membership or crowns, idk. It seems like kingsisle is doing some pretty shady microtransaction practices but nobody seems to care???? If wizard101 was as big at top tier games like GTA or halo or something, KI would be getting CRUCIFIED in the media
It's an MMO and many MMOs do these practices, especially those that have a hint of free to play like Wizard101. You can't compare COD4 to Wizard101. Both play different and have different functions behind their online functionality. That doesn't mean I, or anyone approves of these practices whole heartly. But it's more acceptable because there's only so much money you can make with memberships and bundles. These packs aren't even necessary, only for those who are hardcore players and gave cash to throw.

A lot of people choose to spend hundreds on the game simply because it's so good and they wanna support the devs but if you wanna play the game completely free you can because the premium currency is tradable, meaning that if you grind out some good items, you can trade it to people for the premium currency and get those microtransaction only skins and whatnot for free. Also, every item is purchasable straight up with no randomization, and it's also purely cosmetic. Not only is it all incredibly consumer friendly, but the company makes a shit ton of money from it too. It makes me wonder why every game doesnt just do the same thing.
I think it sucks so much that the community doesn't crucify KI and their practices. Wizard101 claims they're a free-to-play game but you need to buy membership or areas just to continue playing properly, not to mention the pay-to-win aspects of having crown shop items being the meta, and expecting us to be happy with another new pack they decide to release. I'm glad that their Steam review is mixed, because that should be their highest rating, imo it should be lower anyway.
@anon Ikr, It's sad really, Kingsisle only cares about the cash, they get most of their money from loot boxes (Packs) and bundles, they've yet fix the broken pvp as of today, they still have you stuck on the paywall even with 15 worlds today, free players only get like 2% of the game, look at free World of Warcraft at least they give free players more content and uptill level 20 while Wiz, barley gets you to level 10 once you're done with Tritan, you're stuck at the paywall, they should at least make the full Wizard City free minus Crab Alley, and a sample of Krokotopia this will bring Wiz more players, plus teaching the player the basics later for the story, like Sunken City will teach the players to team up in dungeons and Krok with 1v2 mob battles, and the new players will think about buying a membership, yet Kingsisle still focusing on things we that we don't need instead of improving their game, sure they're revamping the graphics but we have to wait every year just to revamp 1/4 of 1 world.
My thinking on the update change to the TCs was that they fully intended to keep the changes, but that the backlash kind of forced their hand into not going through with it. Whether that be due to some actual logical reasons that the community put out that they took to heart, or due to the sheer volume of complaints I cannot say. What I can say though is that Falmea did give a response on the forums addressing the responses in about as corporate a response as possible stating that “ they are monitoring the feedback” and they “ never intended for TCs to be in infinite supply” So I’m theorizing we could have a scenario where KI might just remove TCs sellers in general to make the TCs cards more finite. Which contrary to what people want to hear could be good for the overall health of the game as people were basically using Certain TCs as a crutch in both pvp and pve as, like you’ve stated before, people would just enchant and sideboard in what they need. Which, while efficient feeling, does ruin a previous point of luck that added to the difficulty of the game back in the vanilla days of Arc 1 Personal opinion here I think the removal of TC sellers is good for the game as it would once again incentivize trading and community engagement while also removing people’s reliance on Their TC sideboard while reinforcing the strategy of good deck building.
the maycasts seem a little busted, mostly with the Balance since the other maycasts at least combine the schools, but either way the look of them all look amazing
I’ve tried for that mount at least 20-30 times and only have a cluster of temporary ones. If this pack leaves the shop before I get a big ol fluff ride, I’ll be severely distressed. But I did eventually get all three panda pets :) not great first gen but adorable

The 7th classroom seat elixir is the most ridiculous and way too expensive. There should have always been a 7th seat since the beginning. Why for god's sake do you need a separate screen for the 7th seat?? Just scale the original classroom FFS. SMH. There is also a sound bug for the newly designed streets when casting a spell. :/

I don't like ice bubble that much become not same as unique pair to others class, doesn't match Bubble well with others class, I would use this wands
