It wasn't even on Smackdown you literally said as he pulled the lever I have no other choice. The only thing that confused me is why he bothered winning the match it was basically an excuse to get pallbearer off telly but kind of silly makes the Undertaker look indecisive or afraid to do what's necessary weird.

The Undertaker did give a reason for murdering Bearer in the concrete. He said it was because Paul Bearer was a weakness to him. Which is a pretty classic writing trope.

It got called off properly for the last 2 PPVs. Thank Goodness. I think I didn't even know of this absolute masterpiece (no, not Chris Masters, Mordesky, whatever) until after Hell in a Cell 2020 I think.
I was at Hell in a Cell 2019 with my boyfriend. People were pissed off with that ending. There were chants of "bullshit', "AEW", "we want refunds", and lots of booing. A lot of people hung out outside the arena after the show and just talked shit about it.

Lesnar winning the MITB briefcase still makes me angry to this day knowing that people like Andrade, Balor, Ali and Ricochet could have won the match instead.

@@kennythetrend3688 aew are just as bad... the elite pretending to be basketball players, spotfests where people wait with there hands up for 10 seconds to catch there opponent, and just really amature camera angles and blading spots... dont get me wrong, I prefer aew to wwe, but I prefer impact to both, and njpw is even better still

Paul bearer got his Revenge in Hell in a Cell 2010, but no one mentioned that was due to this incident in 2004, I assumed that way.
Haven't started the video yet, but I have a suspicion that nearly all of these are going to be from the last decade or so lol
I was in the building for TLC 2014. That finish was the definition of a buzzkill. Especially considering the end of Cena/Rollins with the return of Roman. Definitely had no business main eventing with finish planned.

I'll always remember Daniel Bryan v Orton at Battleground being just ended because Big Show arrived. No dq or anything, it just ended.
Survivor Series 2000 was the first that came to mind when I saw the title. Really surprised it didn't even make the list.
The "Springfield Mystery Spot" reference was just lovely.
Bro as a little John Cena fan at the time, watching him get absolutely mauled by Brock Lesner had me in tears and I had to turn away multiple times during the match. Especially when his legs were chained together and hung up like a piece of meat to get destroyed and the elbows that kept cutting him up early. I don’t know what they were thinking with that match and if it wasn’t for the come from behind win it probably would have turned me off wrestling forever.
I don't mind him winning at all. It's not like Lesnar was buried. And the promo with Edge on John's birthday (35th birthday) just made it that important. You could hear the crowd chant Cena, Cena. That 2012 match started to change fan reactions from the boos during the feud with The Rock to many cheers. They were booing him in Montreal, but then first, he praised Bret in what can be a varied version of a cheap pop, and then he buried CM PUNK on the mic. In Canadian.
Let that sink in for a while.

I hated the MITB 2019 ending cause the match was amazing and I thought any of the competitors would’ve been good choices to win the briefcase ,but NOPE! TAKE BROCK AGAIN!

People forget that the lead-up to the MITB match was that there was only 7 members of ladder match with the 8th member replacement being decided to be Brock Lesnar.
Roman did the same thing at Backlash (or Payback idk) when he signed his contract during the Fiend vs Brawn Strowman and won the championship. I don't know why people get so mad.
People are mad because Brock didn't need to win MITB. Brock was already a mega star, MITB is supposed to be used to help elevate up and coming wrestlers into the main event scene.

Lesnar winning the Money in the Bank match was the night the Money in the Bank match became pointless.
Ironically, the Money in the Bank match would become even MORE pointless in 2020, when one briefcase winner (Asuka) was just gifted the Women's Championship on the spot, and the other (Otis, who wasn't even the man who climbed the ladder and unhooked the stupid thing) never got to cash in before he lost it in a match when Tucker turned on him for... reasons. It's time to retire the concept.
Pretty sure Jack Swagger winning it was when it became pointless.

Would anybody have been curious to see a segment on Raw the day after Money in the Bank 2019 where the other ladder match participants came out to confront Lesner about his controversial victory. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Lesner had been forced to defend the brief case in a second ladder match.
They did it with Ellsworth, should have fucking happened with Lesnar.
