Thanks for posting. Many gardners don't realize that rain water not only saves money it doesn't have the chechimals that tap or city water.😮
Im collecting rain water. Thanks for your tips. I enjoy seeing what you call your backyard. In uk a back yard is a small concrete area with a wall around it, it is accessed via the backdoor which is usually located in the kitchen. Night night God bless. Up early gor a 12 hour day shift....Uk 22/06/24 @ 23:05🙏🌷💃
Thank you so much ❤
Great tips, its is winter here in South Africa now, but I will keep all of your suggestions in mind for our hot dry summer months.
@@lisagypsycarolissen7037 South Africa WOW. Thanks for watching. Maybe you could give us an update this 🌱 spring 🌼
I like the covers idea 😊
Thanks, it's fast, easy and best of all free 😊
Nice tips 💦👍 This year the temperatures are quite moderate but the last three years it was sooo hot and dry. We're collecting every drop of water that came down ☔️
Hot with high humidity here and yes saving water 💦 will become part of the new normal.
I found some white tarpaulins on Amazon, I was looking for them to go over my Guinea pigs’ hutches and runs but I bought extras to drape over my planting areas. I used hay over my gardens! The grass etc seeds aren’t a huge issue for us as we grow most of our plants for our 4 rescue guinea pigs and our hamster.
That is awesome! Years ago l researched using hay vs straw. I read that some hay might contain bugs or other unwanted guests. It's good to see that you are being creative when it comes to protecting your plants ☘️. Thanks for posting.
@@thefrugalgardener anytime! It’s using what we have. Their old food, hay and bedding always get reused in the garden. Have you ever used black soldier fly larvae to compost? They’re amazing! They eat everything
No I have not. Thanks for the tip.😊
@@thefrugalgardener I think you’ll like them! They eat so much (even plastics apparently but I’m not sure I’d give them any) and make light work of most the things you put in
Is the weather change altering the growing zones
