  • BREAKING NEWS! Ms. Kayla Bumpus, who represented Lil Woody in the Young Thug trial, discusses the case! Context: The YSL attorneys declare WAR against Judge Glanville! Background: The judge presiding over Young Thug’s lengthy racketeering trial held the musician’s attorney in contempt on Monday after being confronted about a private conversation reportedly held between the judge, prosecutors and a state witness. Brian Steel was escorted out of the courtroom after refusing to tell Judge Ural Glanville how he learned of the meeting, which he said occurred in the judge’s chambers before court began Monday. “You got some information you shouldn’t have gotten,” Glanville said before directing deputies to take Steel into custody. “

    I am a nurse, and I was reported to the board by a superior for a violation that didn't exist on giving a medication I was trained and allowed to give. I had to fight and defend myself for a year to prove I had violated no law, standard or scope of practice, solely because my boss didn't like the fact that I knew more about my job and scope of practice in my state than she did. She had come from another state and had no idea what the standards of practice and laws were in my state. I was cleared and she was forced to retire from our company. Later that year I was called in to speak to some corporate big wigs who apologized for her actions, treatment of me and the malicious and frivolous accusation that put my license at risk and it was removed from my employee file. I know what it is like to know you did nothing wrong and committed no violation and still have your livelihood put in jeopardy! I hope it works out in your favor, Kayla. Don't let this a$$hole get to you!

      My sister went through something similar… not to take from what happen, (because I to am a healthcare provider with 20+ years under my belt) but sometimes situations happen due to questioning authority! I had to talk to with my lil sis and let her know we know you’re smart, passionate and love your job, however healthcare is a VERY SMALL WORLD and you most definitely will bump into previous employees/employers! Some in authority have power egos and 100% of the time this is why situations happen because they feel their authority is questioned! When you know your job theirs no need SPEAK it’s better to display, give your pt the best care and let them deal with their egos because those type don’t last long at facilities

    • @RLS1
      @RLS1 Před 5 dny +5

      @TDLewis3810 thank you. I am still nursing. Sort of like when TLA talked about your chosen profession being the only thing you know to do, nursing is the only thing I want to do! I feel like this field is where I am meant to be. I love my job. I have dedicated my life to caring for pediatric vent dependent patients with brain injuries and seizure disorders. It is all I do. I actually hadn't ever thought about speaking at schools about my experience with the board and defending my license, but I have told the story to some nurses and students I know. I do have a close relationship with one of my teachers/mentors from college who could probably help with that. It's actually a great idea because it would have been helpful to know the process before having been forced to go through it. I was incredibly fortunate that the mentor I spoke of has remained in my life for more than 20 years supporting me and helped me make my arguments to the board.

Why did the judge mention Miss Love speaking to Woody that morning while talking to him when she wasn’t in the room when he walked in? Did she speak to him privately and tell him if he lies about the murder he would get locked up? Because when Miss Love was there talking, Woody hadn’t been brought in yet. And it’s weird that the discussion was murder (and a whopper of a lie) after mentioning Miss Love, but she wasn’t even there for Woody’s entire discussion. The only reason that Judge Glanville did a 360 is because in the Supreme Court decision that states the motion needs to be filed in Superior Court they also specify exactly what procedure must be followed by Judge Glanville and that is what Weinstein was after, that is why he filed it in the Supreme Court versus the Superior Court even though he knew it was going to get kicked back to Superior Court! So what did Judge Glanville do a 360 on? The hearing was held in open court and not in camera, an unredacted transcript will be available to all instead of a redacted version (judge cited privilege even though there was 11 people present), he canceled his show cause hearing, he transferred his recusal motions to another Court, and finally, his court is in recess until the decision is made on his recusal! The only reason the judge did any of these things is because he knows the Supreme Court is watching his every move! Now I do not know this for certain but I firmly believe that Judge Glanville had his court reporter alter the transcript! He went so hard on the fact that he had to redact the transcript and then when he talked about it today and was going over the timeline he said the ex parte meeting was all of 3 minutes! The ex parte meeting was from 11:28 until 11:31! Huh? WTF! 😳 Y'all know that's some bullshit! He is lying his ass off because he is trying to fix the mess he made and he doesn't know how! I am so happy that Attorney Bumpis will absolutely know if it is a true & exact transcript! I'd be willing to bet that it's not gonna be though! I really have a feeling that Judge Glanville is on his way out! He let his power go to his head with the world watching which was really stupid on his part! We shall see.....

      @@LoveNia_I know she represented him previously..and that still doesn’t change the fact that she said they called her to come handle the case. She initially stated she was late getting to the courthouse but then said she was the 1st one to get there, and that she called them back to let them know she was there, they sent someone to walk her to the meeting. She said when she got in the foyer of the chambers that everybody was just standing around talking about life, but your client is not there and almost an he getting there, but you never thought to ask where your client was or what this meeting was about… that he that the judge said her and woody had, it wasn’t her an woody, it was her and the state and the judge talking about what they needed her to do to get woody to testify after he had already stated he didn’t want to..if she was for woody she would have made it know off the top that these proceedings were not appropriate, but she didn’t. She knew full well what was fina happen from the 1st phone call..and everybody keep saying that a lot of people were in there but all those people were with the state, they prolly offered he a spot with the DA if she could sweeten up what the new facts of the immunity agreement was. She tried that with the 1st talk she had with woody and we he didn’t want to do it she went and told the state so and they sent her back the second time to tell him the consequences of not doing it…but when woody got on the stand an the lady started asking him dumb questions and woody looked out at Kayla..and then said I plead the 5th…if Kayla didn’t want to do it or be in the courtroom or have anything to do with the case, then I’m sure she could have made that known from the 1st phone call they made to her before she ever even made it to the courthouse.. and if she had to do all that she did in the meeting and she really didn’t want to be there then what really made her do it?? What or who coerced her to do the meeting if that wasn’t what she wanted to do? But she definitely wanted to do it for a position with the DA…I think she got scared of how the defense knew so quick about the meeting… she went to talk to them to find out how they knew so fast…but on the video she claimed to be just talking about small talk…who y’all think yall fooling… it would be so amazing if woody was recording the whole thing…I hope something like that comes out… it’s too much going on in the world to have corrupt judges and DA’s who force people to lie for a conviction just because they have no evidence …how does a case go to trial with literally no evidence??? How???

Only about life when she first got there??? Yall think that black people and the public will literally fall for anything…talking about she told him to fire her so she can leave the courtroom…if that’s the case, that could’ve happened when she 1st saw him in chambers and he said he didn’t want to do it… for a lot of y’all to be employed in some aspect of the justice system in these comments, yall a lil slow or either has zero persuasion skills, yall just make up any lame excuse and hope it fly with the public and it’s not😂 tell Bumpus everybody waiting to see what she say about them altered transcripts!!!

They knew his attorney wasnt coming and they intended to pull this stunt on her and fully expected to get away with it. I think they depended on her not knowing the full details and it sounds like she fought hard to represent him thwarting them.

    Thank you SO MUCH for this informative interview of those Lawyers who fight a Justice Sustem that at times is a maze in which rules, procedures, & personal opinion/feelings that have NOTHING to do with justiice & show the illicit power some Judges/prosecutors use outside of actual judicial lines! Love Kayla & so impressed at her professional standards which all defendants deserve!!! I hadn’t heard what happened after this shocking overreach & judicial misconduct of a sitting Judge that , IMO , showed one of the ‘not okay’ backroom ‘deals’ that leave the Defense in the dark by the prosecution! Amazingly, do to my interest in Court cases and the justice system as a layman, you came up in my feed & I am extremely grateful!!! I have never had to defend myself of a criminal charge but if I did I would be proud to have an Attorney EXACTLY like her to defend me! You go GF 💃💃💃💃💃! We were ALL OVER those live chats. LOL. Kudos to Georgia for trying to save face. I know they want this man behind bars, but the law is the law. No one is above it, and if you anticipate to deprive a man of his liberties, make sure you're not doing anything immoral or illegal or unethical or unconstitutional to do so. I am here for good legal showdown. Not a 2 vs 1.
    As it pertains to the transcript, there are remedies. Instead of the lawyers reviewing the file, send it to 3rd party who can verify for accuracy (swear under oath). I reviewed Georgia's sunshine laws, and it does not say how to get transcripts from the Court. But the law is never 100. So, these can be room for corrections. But if it is found that they tampered with evidence, my gosh. This is a whole case in itself.
    I just hate being robbed of a great legal showdown. I JUST HATE IT. The type when you got over-powered, you said "you've got me. But still lunch on me." And we see you in court again. This time, everyone is better prepared. This judge, Glandville, needs to go back to law school and re-learn the principles of legality, as it pertains to the constitution and court rulings. I am so annoyed. And it is very likely that these accused have their rights violated. It's like the State does not have a case, but they are making up charges as they go, all while they are sitting in a cell.
