I have the x20 and the same module. I cant get any umx reciever to bind. Am i missing something? Do i need to switch the firmware on the module?
Don't use DSM Auto, use DSMX 1F and try DSMX 2F if 1F doesn't work. Also set your channel range to 1-6 for UMX.
@awz_maas Found the issue. Iwas too near despite being over 5m away.... at 10m it was finally binding. My module i guess...

Are you able to get telemetry coming back through the MPM?
MPM Telemetry is not yet supported in ETHOS. There's an open issue on the 1.5.0 milestone so I'm hoping we see it when 1.5.0 releases. It's not in the nightlies yet.
Hello i use the i range irx4 for my spectrum receivers at the x18s. The newest version at the x18s for the multimodule is used aswell. I face the problem that the channels 1 and 4 are not working. The output 2 is the channel 1 at the Receiver. Output 3 is Channel 2 at the receiver. Output 5 ist channel 4 at the receiver. Is it the same at yours? I'm not sure with this video because i wasn't able to see and understand everything clearly.
That sounds like a channel range issue. Set the channel range in RF System->External module to 1-6 and see if that resolves things

Your presentation is good but I wish you would bring the transmitter closer to the camera so we can see all the changes you are making.
It's a bit of struggle getting both a good shot of the screen and one of the whole setup using one camera, I will be moving to a 2-camera setup soon which will make things better in new videos
For the module, how do i get the radio to download that drop down menu to swith protocols?

You need the multiprotocol script installed to get the protocol options.

The Stylus is swag from FrSky. I don't think they sell it, but if you ever meet an FrSky rep they may have some to give out.

Yes, I demonstrate that for these UMX models around 11 minutes into the video. Note you can only use the 'stick programming + button toggle' form of detection on the newer receivers, forward programming is not supported for selecting SAFE Flight Mode selection.
Which channel did you assign SAFE on?
