I particularly liked the last two examples. Thank you. It is indeed difficult to decide which one to use - most difficult when you need to explain that clearly to ESL students.

Hi,can you answer my question. I feel confused at 4:56. Catherine's example is '' If I fail my exams again, I feel terrible.''İs that also true? She might work a lot.

Good evening BBC ...I am addicted to listen to your valuable classes...mine is not a complaint... I just wanted my self to be clear about your text during the Catherine version. The text is like this...But if your friend is about to go sunbathing, perhaps without any sun cream, you can use the first conditional to talk about that specific situation and its possible result like this. My doubt is...can ITS be written like how you texted....or can it be written IT'S only?

Your audio podcasts are indispensable to me, hosts are great and explanation is very clear. A suggestion if possible, when you create video out of audio podcast either include animated dialogues of transcripts or video of hosts recording audio would be cool.

Oh, I didn't know the zero & first conditional. I think the difference between zero & first condition is important to learn. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing a great English video.

Conditional 0 and 1 describe real situations-cond 0 in the present- general truth, facts/ cond 1 in the future- a high possibility to happen in the future, a specific situation. Both use "when" and "if": cond 0-"when" = it happens regularly , "if"= not regularly// cond 1- "when" =it will happen at some point in the future, "if" =don't know if it will happen
