And last year september even 2000 denomination was removed from circulation, equivalent to demonitization 2.0. Today highest denomination is 500. Next year we will be introducing a new law which will ban holding cash more than 500k (or 5 lakh) i.e. ALL money more than 5 lakh must be deposited in bank. If you hold cash more than 5 lakh, you can face charges.

You have a wrong information. The 1000 rupees notes have been permanently stopped. Period given for exchange of notes was 51 days. The major problem was issue of new currency notes of 2000 denomination. Which is also discontinued now. The highest denomination available now is 500😮 only.

Demonetization in India didn't create much problem to poor and lower middle class and honest tax payer except a month shortage of currency. We had digital system. It helped to clean up system.

Indian government banned notes. We suffered a lot. But after that indian moved towards digital payment. Now even you go to eat any footpath or go even to a small bittle shop you can pay via UPI.
Before that pakistan has to create a very very big on line transaction infrastructure .pakistan banks are still using very old banking software including ATMs also. Mass people need to be educated how to use online technology. Pakistan Rurals are very very uneducated its a long way to implement.

India has already done this work but it is beyond Pakistan's capacity.
The reason for this is that along with the rich people of the country, the government and the establishment are also equally involved in accumulating black money.
So why would they make any plan that would break the network they have built?
They are saying that demonetization was India's mistake. Perhaps it is because their level of understanding does not reach the extent that India can do.
Here any geopolitician, leader, journalist and even street vendors can give lectures on economic rules but in India only economists do this work after the deep thought.
That is why this difference will always remain between India and Pakistan. And this difference can be easily understood by looking at the economy of both the countries. There, a specific department talks and works on a particular topic only.

The hardship to people due to demonetisation was not as much as being made out. It has helped the country. Only those people were affected most who had unaccounted money. Najam sahab.bilkul galat bata rahey hai. If the demonetisation ke liye time mil jaata toh Pakistan ko bhi waqt mil jaata to float the money trail in India more easily. But the whole money being printed became irrelevant. Also our country moved to digitialisation so nakli note ka dhanda bandh hua.
