Ok. I’ve seen moments where the opponent somehow doesn’t connect to Incineroar’s side b, but he does a little “oh well” kind of pose. But I have NEVER seen the opponent not only falling out the move, but Incineroar still striking a pose.

it happens a lot when the environment is more chaotic (e.g. items, stage hazards, more than 1v1) but it's really rare to see it in a singles tournament settings

Y'all are dumb as fuck. If you slow down the clip, you can see that Pac-Man jabbed, extending his hurtbox over to Kazuya, and they traded blows. Just looked weird in the kill screen. No glitch, no jank.

I can dumb down what happened. The pac man looks like he threw out a tilt attack or something along that line while Kazuya’s entire body was invincible, which then caught him up in that move’s hitbox.

I had a game with my friend where he started out with a shot of k rools cannon at me. It connected…. and I went flying and died at ZERO. We back out immediately and went to look at the game recording but it crashed the switch whenever we tried to look at it haha

I just got the random feeling to crank out the analysis machine for each of these moments. Skipping the ones that is clearly obvious or have seen many times in the past.
0:15 Ryu's back air traded with one of the Octaslash multi-hits, which set up perfectly for the side B. I do refuse to believe that Tatsu was intentional.
0:49 This is the clip that confuses me the most though. ROB's arm is raised during up B, which explains why that hit and sweetspotted. However, I don't know why he was sent the other way. Going frame-by-frame, you can see that the ROB SDI'd into the wall, but the move's DI lines already indicated that it was launching the other way. Going into the hitbox viewer, there are no parts of Roy down tilt that launches the other way like a reverse hit. I guess the DI line accounts for hitting the wall already?
1:31 Dedede's foot extended his hurtbox to the Sing. If he charged the f-smash just slightly longer, he would've gotten the punish successfully. Dedede slid forward because of the momentum of his forward smash.
1:42 Bowser's down air landing lag animation involves him jumping from his spot, which extended his hurtbox to the Roller.

2:19 Dragon Uppercut reaches a deceptive amount behind, but Pac-Man also extended his hurtbox with a forward tilt.
3:04 Once Min Min's arms extract back to normal, they become hurtboxes again. As such, the arm retraction animation allowed her hurtbox to stretch far enough to get hit by sweetspotted up smash from behind.
3:40 The innermost hitbox of Dedede back air stretches to slightly less than half of his body. Wario started up an up air, which stretched his hurtbox to said hitbox.
4:12 Shulk's grab range under normal circumstances is very mediocre. However, a lot of his grab range is actually inside of his body. Also contrary to what many players may think, Pikachu does indeed have a tail hurtbox. Not one that stretches across his entire tail, but it does one regardless.

i was gonna say it was an WTF moment but when ever you hit something like a gyro, the smash attack lasts much longer. so when the pyra hit the gyro, it made her smash attack long enough for the R.O.B to run into it and die.

Alot of these are basic reads, etc. The jigglypuff one was just the hitbox extending and hitting the f smash. Same for that, just hitbox extending because it hit something.

Unfortunate on the last clip for Steve, if only he could've turned around. Inkling's roller does lose the hitbox momentarily when it's shielded though, that's how the attack is countered (similarly with Ryu's Tatsumaki, though Roller can still hit after some time passes). Can't tell if that's supposed to be the unexpected, though.
Earlier clip with Steve and Min Min, BSD discovered anvil breaks tethers as well. Probably since it's a type of floor getting in the way of the ledge, the tether wants to target it, but the anvil isn't a grabbable ledge so it fails.

Weirdest thing I've seen in this game was when I Bowser bombed a jigglypuffs shield when they were at 0 then they flew straight up in the air and died.
That's normal, Jigglypuff will always die if her shield gets broken, it's been like that since Smash 64.
Someone needs to send this video to Nintendo so they can create update 14.0.0 and “fix” these glitches and totally not so they’ll nerf Kazuya.
