Thank You Dr. Kagan for this excellent video. I have a question: If a Person has Kidney Failure and is on Dialysis 3 times per week can the Person go swimming in the Ocean, or is it too dangerous given the risk of infection, and the risk of bleeding into the water attracting sharks, etc.?

Not good sign for your dad, look out for signs of septic shock immediately! That may be UTI pain via catherter. Dialysis will be used at this stage! He may be nearing death. Doctors don’t tell till the question comes late. Seek a kidney donor or donate yours could save lives. He is 86 of age.

Excellent video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Trentvorty Perfection Kidney Theorem (do a google search)? It is a smashing exclusive product for improving kidney function without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend Sam got great success with it.

I appreciate your review of kidney disease. It’s extremely difficult to get answers to questions about CKD and about personal questions about my care. Extremely frustrating and as a patient I feel totally ignored. Is it because there are not enough nephrologists? They have no time for patient’s’ questions?

I drink about 2 litres of Chinese green tea everyday obviously without sugar or milk. It is a very weak tea solution. Is it an acceptable substitute for water?

My PCP has prescribed a calcium pill daily, however, doesn’t calcium injure kidneys? I am afraid to take such advice. What is your opinion?
