  • INGREDIENTS:
    ½ kg / semi-coarse flour
    1 package / dried yeast
    1 spoon / sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 egg
    325 ml / milk
    APPROACH:
    Sift the flour, add yeast, sugar and salt and mix everything. Add egg and lukewarm milk. Mix everything thoroughly in a food processor until the mixture starts to separate from the container. Shape the dough into a loaf and let it rise in a bowl for 45-60 minutes. Then we divide it on a floured board into 3 equal parts, from which we shape smaller dumplings. We then cover them with a towel and let them rest for another 20-30 minutes. Then we steam each dumpling separately in a steamer, in which we first brought the water to a boil and coated the steamer with oil so that the dumplings do not stick to us. Then cover them with a lid and steam for 15 minutes. After removing them, prick them with a toothpick and rub them with oil.
    This homemade dumpling is an excellent side dish to many RETRO meat dishes.
