@AkiHimura Are you working for the Military or are u just dumb? Let someone who has influence over the military? There's really no one. The country is full of corrupt officials that work for the Military and she's the final frontier. You foreigners should stay out of our country. Asking for her to leave is like giving the country back to the Military on a silver platter.
She's allowed them to come back, she's working with new zealand to give the refugees to migrate there if they dont want to live in Myanmar. But only a handful return while they keep filming themselves about how they are suffering in camps. What do they want? I feel like they just want to separate from Myanmar and give the land to Bangladesh. Amay Suu is not going to let our ancestors land be taken.

A real leader knows the traps that are set against her and would rather sacrifice her reputation and prizes (prizes she doesnt care for) to do what is best for the country, not what is feel good on the outside. Look at Dalai Lama, what has he done for Tibet now even though he speaks so many feel good wise words? western media go to tibet and report about the people burning themselves up in protest against China but does it help? Western media come to Myanmar when military dictatorship was torturing the entire country but does it help? The west praised Gandhi and promoted his fame as a peace leader, but the west also caused the Partition of India and Pakistan, resulting in millions of Muslims and Hindus getting massacred by mobs, their women raped an children brutally killed. Aung San Suu Kyi knows the west is as hypocritical and useless as the dictators inside her country. Other Arab countries criticize her but then they bomb Yemen because they are afraid of the rebels. They all believe in the same Allah but would kill each other because Sunni and Shi'a divide. If they can't even get along with each other, what does that mean for non- muslims? What did the west do to help Yemen? They made it worse. Trump gave more missiles to Saudi Arabia and now a bus full of Yemen children got struck by a US missile. Why be angry at a woman who is doing her best even though she has little power, when people in full power in the Middle East are killing as much as they can? The only country willing to work with Suu Kyi and open up their doors is New Zealand. What does the rest of them do? Also Indonesia gets along well with Myanmar. Philippines busy killing their own drug traffickers and they also get along well with Myanmar. Only desparate politicians who are getting arrested for corruption try to scream at Aung San Suu Kyi to distract the people from their own corruption and crimes. These are the people who speak words to make themselves look good and not care about the country.

Current crisis in Myanmar is a product of Colonialism, when the country was put into Greater India, when several million immigrants poured into small homogeneous country in long Colonial era, including Rohingya Bengalis from Bangladesh with 170 million people, had been sending millions of illegal immigrants into Myanmar for ages that Myanmar has declared national emergency in Rakhine State ever since early 1980s, but Western news medias ignored it all, as Myanmar had been boycotted by the West, when impoverished country turned to Socialism after long painful Colonial era; and as a result, hardly any one out of Myanmar knew truths. Tragic ridden Myanmar had been suffering for centuries; first under British Colonialism, when the nation was placed inside Greater India, thus around 8 millions immigrants moved into small homogeneous country in long Colonial era; secondly through boycotted by the West, as impoverished Myanmar turned to Socialism for a relief. In fact, Myanmar has a sad saying that goes 'A poor young girl got raped and get hurt twice', referring to their nation's double tragedies.Myanmar endured the worst immigration onslaught under long & painful Colonialism, when several million immigrants poured in, as small homogeneous country was put inside Greater India; while neighbors such as Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam under French Colonialism had no immigration issue at all. Like I said, there's hardly any Muslim, Hindu or Christian in Myanmar up until Colonialism, when the small homogeneous country was placed inside Greater India, and several millions South Asian immigrants poured in; while neighbors such as Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam under French Colonialism had no immigration issue at all. Naypidaw a city built for the Generals and Ministers and local elite and the Chinese ... for example, is light years ahead of Yangon, which has been neglected for five decades... and there is a gulf of inequity as you go further out from the city of Yangon.. and into other states, such as, the Rhaking... or Shan.

I'm an Indonesian Muslim who will always oppose the act of genocide to all humas of all religions and races.
But by reading the comments gave me a conclusion that she does not have the power to stop that genocide and if she speak out against the military, the military could just over throw her which could lead to civil war, instabilities, and maybe even more genocide..
If that's the case then she is trying her best to gain international suppot, international investments, to help her country grow and also gaining more power over time. So she could oppose the military.
We also should not judge people from what the media covered for us because the media doesn't told what's in her mind.

We do not want Myanmar to become just an economically focused state.. like Singapore and Malaysia and Thailand.. there needs to be equitable distribution of wealth, which is the key here. Being part of ASEAN does not mean the same paths of other ASEAN members need to be followed... Burma should forge its own interpretation of a fair and just society. There are no perfect democracies.. however, New Zealand and Australia would be ideal models to emulate. An elitist society is not desirable for a people who have suffered so much for six decades.

After returning his home portugal, he recorded tittle"" the coronation of king Thi Ri Thuddamma"" in detail almost there. @apispis1986 tincola7172 Then why they no go to New Zealand lmao? You all criticise her for not letting them in, and now she let them in, then u guys criticise some more. Only New Zealand is helping Myanmar accept Rohingya who dont want to go back while other countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran sit by and talk bad about her while they bomb Yemen with US missiles from Trump. Among the innocent refugees are separatists that are loyal to Bangladesh (ever since independence time). Ever since the past, those from the Bengal and greater India region fought alongside the British to invade other countries and keep the colonists in power. The British even promised a separate state carved out from the Rakhine region as reward for serving as their lackeys but that is Rakhine land, not theirs.
Its just like the scenario in Crimea. First they establish in global eyes that they belong to the land so as to claim exclusive right to it. Then they will emphasize and exaggerate how they are oppressed, just like how the Crimeans are dissatisfied with the Ukrainian government. And once they have attained the right to the land, they will express their preference to be with another country. And just like that, Crimea is now annexed by Russia through a simple unofficial vote by sly and cunning Putin and even the UN cannot stop it.
There's a reason why that state is called Rakhine state, its for the ethnic Rakhines. all the 7 major ethnic groups in myanmar have their own state with their name in Myanmar. And Rakhine was once its own separate nation before conquered by the now majority Bamar and then the British from India. Since ancient times, Rakhine has existed. Rakhine kings have ruled the land even before the start of the Bamar Bagan dynasty. Because of the 60 years of military dictatorship, Rakhine became one of the poorest states after countless thieving generals stole its resources. If Aung San Suu Kyi, a Bamar, decided to give away Rakhine land, do you think the Rakhines will forgive her and the Democratic transition? Think about it. its obvious that the Military wants her to lose the trust of the people so that they can take back control of Myanmar.
Same thing in the Sri Lankan conflict. British used the Tamils and promote them to high positions while they oppressed the Sinhalese. Ethnic tensions sowed by the favoritism of the western colonists. Same thing when the British partitioned India and Pakistan and then a mass genocide ensued where millions persished due to mob violence.
And when things didnt go according to plan? The extremist Tamil Tigers popped up against the government. Here in Myanmar? its ARSA and Amnesty International have evidence of them massacring the Hindu community in Rakhine. Even the Rakhine Hindus hate ARSA.
Even if Bangladesh know of these separatists, they won't complain because their country is overcrowded due to its rapid uncontrolled population growth rate and they could use more land since most of their land is just a fishing delta. They have 154 million inhabitants compared to 55 million in Myanmar. Doesn't mean Myanmar have to give them lmao.

There’s no problem at least I don’t have one, but you on the hand ur not stating ur opinions nor expressing them. Ur clearly oppressing ur opinions on others.

Honestly how can anyone hold ur words accountable if u have no responsibilities for what u said. U can say anything u want on the internet, u have the right to do so but that does not make u right. U know nothing about my country and u know nothing about my people and what we have been through. And here u r somewhere in ur own comfort zone, away from the criticism and accountability spamming on ur keyboard or whatever u have, about my country without any proof nor any basic research.
