Using more descriptive class names like 'content' or 'block' instead of 'css', 'php', or 'div' can be more beneficial for those learning.
I’m figuring out which content is more clear for demonstration and using the names like you suggested was one of the options, thanks for the feedback, it gives me more data to make better decisions😊
A sensible teaching style! Write the code, make it work, then explain. I like that format. Every tutorial should follow that format.
Glad you liked it! Andrew ❤️
So useful! Amazing how you explain all the changes in a very detailed way.👏
Glad it was helpful!
More than learning CSS, i found your voice so soothing that i went into kind of a meditative state even before you started about CSS.....thank you for doing this.
Wow, thank you, I’m glad to hear that 😊
Love your style of teaching. The tutorials are easy to follow and understandable. Thanks very much 😊
Thank you, I'm glad to help 😊
Thank you, you're a great teacher. I will be listening to this a few times today
Thanks, I’m glad it’s useful for you🔥
Nice Teaching style Bro Thanks❤❤
Thank you 😊
Thanks very much. 🤗🤗
You're welcome 😊
I need CSS, I also need to learn to make responsive web design. I have the basics of HTML and CSS...but I'm not satisfied. I'll use this video
thank you for theses wonderful video
Glad you like them!😊
I am the 1 you needed to become 1k and am happy for that.
Thanks! This is an important milestone.
And you're part of it 😎
❤❤ thanks
You're welcome 😊
sir u r looking very smart
Thanks! So nice of you ❤️
Thanks
I'm glad to help 😊
I'm happy to see that i'm not the only one learning coding in 2024 , with all the scary news out there.
From what I can tell, AI isn't going to replace programming jobs at this stage.
It’s starting to generate code that works and looks intelligent, but it often looks more intelligent than it actually is.
Writing 40 lines of code to center a div or use an API is one thing. Implementing complex employee requirements is a completely different challenge.
Developers consider many factors in their work, and it will take a long time for AI to learn all of them and even longer to integrate them seamlessly.
However, AI is an amazing tool that can expedite parts of the development process and aid in learning. Right now, AI feels like a supercharged Google search, and that's it.
So, don't be afraid of AI. Learn to use it to your advantage.
@@dimalos thanks for the advice.
Dude! You said this: “ From what I can tell, AI isn't going to replace programming jobs at this stage.”
- Meaning in the future it might replace programming according to your statement.”
I think it’s possible.
And I also think it’s gonna be way in the future when AI replaces developers, that I wouldn’t worry about it right now.
I think learning how to code is even more relevant in this age of generative AI.
And demand on programmers will increase even more.
So I would focus on building developer skills and how to use AI for your advantage.
Will be there more parts of this course or your will start JS series
tldr: Yes, 6 more topics over the time and PHP course in parallel.
Longer version:
There are 6 more topics I'm planning to cover as part of essentials, including Flexbox.
I will start PHP series next.
From my experience PHP is the best option to start with for beginners that want to become developers asap and have less painful first couple of years.
Modern PHP is a solid OOP language + compared to JS it has way more clear learning path and gives good start and foundation.
Then on top of PHP it's so much easier to add JS: both frontend and backend. (or other programming languages).
JS is amazing, and seems very easy at first, but when you get to the real world scenarios and questions "what do I need to learn and know to be a good JS developer" - things get quickly very difficult.
I'm writing this based on my own pains and scars, I've had over the last 14 years of experimenting with different languages (JS included).
Initially I wanted to cover JS after CSS.
But then I realized if my goal is to help people to have a better and quicker start as developers - I must cover PHP first.
------
Upd: After hearing lots of valuable feedback from you guys I've decided to extend html & css course with more exercises and a mini project to have more practice.
So I'll work on that + PHP course
@@dimalos Okay, so after learning PHP, how much JS is needed to learn?
@@samsiddique4751
A short answer is:
It depends on your goals and what things you like to develop.
A longer answer is:
1. If you decide to focus solely on the backend development, I'd say JS basics are enough: I mean pure JS with no libraries.
And after learning PHP it's gonna take you around 1-2 weeks to learn pure JS for that purpose (because with learning PHP you'll gain a solid foundation in programming in general. And then transferring that on learning other languages expedites things A LOT).
2. If you decide to become a frontend dev, then it's a different story and you'll need to learn A LOT.
In this case learning pure JS is gonna be a breeze, but you'll need to learn so many different libraries and tools: like react/vue, npm/yarn, state managment libary like redux and so on.
Add advanced CSS skills and libs on top of that.
3. If you decide to become a fullstack dev, then you''ll need to learn around 60% of the point 2 (from the frontend area).
@@samsiddique4751 I'm thinking now, in addition to my regular tutorials, create one or several videos that will give you a birds-eye view on main paths I see for beginners to have a good start in web development career.
Because it's possible to learn programming languages and technologies in the order that gives you synergy from them.
And it helps you to progress faster.
Or you can learn them in the order that gives you a lot of confusion, mess and is conflicting.
Which can slow you down a lot.
@@dimalos yeah I am thinking about that.
First start with roadmap for php dev or backend dev.
Can you please add a mini project at the end of a course
This is is great feedback, thanks! For the next course I'm planning now to add mini projects.
@@dimalos that's great and reassuring to know ☺️☺️
@@supremeoverlord1 a good way of testing your css knowledge is copying some medium sized website, if they have some functionality to them just ignore it
@@mur9a great advice, back when I was learning web development - this is exactly what I did and it helped me to grow a lot.
I'll add exercises in future videos and also the approach I used and use to come up with exercises/projects to grow my skills.
@@mur9a can you explain further. As in do I copy the source code or try to clone the website by looking at it
underrated af
thanks
Bro plz uplod php mysql basic to advance
Working on it right now. But it’s so time consuming, so it’ll take me some time to create those videos
Bro please make a discord server love from India ❤
Thank you😊
This is a great idea about a discord server.
I’ll get to it, as soon as possible after I finish creating 2 courses I’m working on right now: 1) HTML+CSS extended course (more topics + real project - recreate reddit main page).
2) PHP course.
It’s takes sooo much time to create these videos and I have like a million awesome things that I want to share with you, so I’m trying to do that in a sequence.
But, man, a discord server is an awesome idea, thanks again!
@@dimalosbro I'm doing css & html with superSimpledev so do I need to watch your html css video also or just php series my aim is to be full stack developer by the end of the year
superSimpledev has a great css&html course, so I would recommend studying his course, then going through my PHP course, then studying again his css&html course.
So the route I recommend:
1. Study & practice css&html.
2. Then Study &practice php.
3. Try to create 1 or 2 projects completely on your own. The goal of this step is not to perfectly build those projects, but to fail a lot and collect tons of questions that you will answer when you...
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
That approach worked great for me when I was learning.
@@dimalos thank you man, for giving valuable advice ❤️
Hlo sir please make video in HTML
Oh, check out this video then
czcams.com/video/iyvmV98sZa8/video.html
Or if the link is inconvenient for you, type in "learn html in 55 minutes 2024" in the youtube field at the top of the page.
I've got an HTML course too.
@@dimalos thank you 😊
This is not complete CSS just ha chunk of CSS. As your experience is more than decade you should create advanced CSS video.
Thanks for the feedback !😊 That’s in my future plans
